Just wondering if I made a good choice. I haven't grown in 1.5 years but a month into my grow I decided to switch to autopots. Have a tray to grow in my 4x2 and 5 gallon geo pots in my 3x3. I've decided to use nutrients in my reservoirs and the company I went with was general hydroponics. Seeing as these grows are already a month along does anyone have any recommendations on feeding or should I stick with label recommendations?

You didn't say what GH line you are using?
I used to grow exclusively with GH.
Plants like 1000-1200ppm at 4 weeks (I fed 1200-1400 with GH no prob**. You won't start burning tips until you get to like 1500-1800ppm and above)
ph 5.8-6.2 veg/ 5.9-6.4 bloom
There is no need to try and chase exact numbers. Let it drift within those ranges, imo
Continue giving veg formula 2-3 weeks after flip to 12/12 light schedule (during stretch)
I have switched to Megacrop 1 part (powdered nutes) and have never looked back

Your plants look awesome! Keep doin what you're doing!

(**using 0ppm RO water the ppm's come out way lower when mixed per their feed chart, get a good set of TDS/PH Meter)

Welcome to the Farm! And happy growing! 👊🐙

This is what I got. My 4x2 is auto in flower rn, about a week in. The 3x3 is still in veg. How would you tackle both tents.

It's really simple; just remember 1-2-3 & 3-2-1 those are the key ratios. You will also need cal-mag and hydroguard. Use this 3 part feed chart (aggressive) :

I've never used GH without using ec/tds/ph pens. I would strongly recommend a quality set like Blue Lab

Thank you brother.... Much appreciate. I did the aggressive and my reservoir ended up at 1060 ppm. pH at 6.1. did it late last night and am already seeing them perk up. My 2x4 that's in early flower, should I increase the ppm or just let it ride for now?

Continue giving veg formula 2-3 weeks after flip to 12/12 light schedule (during stretch). I'd run 1200ppm in the bloom tent.

It depends how far in & where they are at now? What I do is mix by their #'s which always end up less than they say. If it's close to my 1200 I'll add more *green (veg) or pink (bloom); depending on growth stage, to bring it up to my 1200 (or whatever # I'm aiming for; I run 1200-1400ppm, I wouldn't run that high in your shoes (yet), until you get a little more hydro experience and are comfortable with how they respond). *if you come in real low, use the 3-2-1 ratio; ie during veg use like 15ml green, 10ml blood, 5ml pink (opposite of course during bloom) until you get to your desired number. just remember green-blood-pink (3-2-1) during veg and green-blood-pink (1-2-3) during bloom.

I use ML's with an oral syringe for small amts and measuring cup for larger amts. I also have a 1 gal pitcher (with measurements) which comes in handy if you want to measure exact gallons or liters.

This may sound a little intimidating at 1st, but within a very short time; it will become 2nd nature.

Don't forget some kind of cal-mag (I use gh cali-magic) very important bc their standard mix is woefully low in Ca & Mg
Also make sure and get some Hydroguard.

When mixing always put the **calmag in 1st, mix well, then add the rest, stirring well between each addition (**if using silica, mix it 1st, very well, then calmag etc...)

If any of this doesn't make sense, lemme know and I'll try and clarify 👊🐙

You've been super helpful and it's very appreciated. Calmag is arriving today, I'll have to order the hydroguard. The details def matter, I'm glad you're thorough. I get obsessive with things and specifics are appreciated. Lol. However I'm not sure what silica is. I've only took this point used organic blends with gaija green. I'm sure something was off with that as I'm sure I under watered afraid of root rot. Mostly the reason I switched to autopots. Take the guess work outta it for me. Even with moisture meter I still felt like I was under watering. Hopefully this route will simplify certain aspects.
