First I soaked them in deionized water and paper towels in the dark. Then I thought they were dead seeds so I tried the float test and they sank to the bottom in deionized water. Now I have them on top of a paper towel with deionized water and a plastic sandwich bag covering them.

What temperature? How long have they been wet? I keep the paper towels wet but not soaked and the temp 80- 85. It usually only takes two or three days to pop.
