Never grown an auto before personally. Not sure I understand why some people hate them so much other than I heard they can be pretty fussy. I guess I will find out if this rain ever buggers off. My garden is actually flooded right now from all night rain I am a bit afraid to go look at the state of things. I am expecting this quarter pounder seedling to out do the sweet tooth so far, it's a sturdy little seedling

Okay, I looked up sweet tooth and it looks like it might help with insomnia. My issue.
Does it work that way for you?
And where did you purchase your seed?

That's why i grow weed an smoke it all from my days of being on call, disrupted sleep. I was a GI assistaint to the Dr. and a surgical MA. Then a Sterile Tech last 15yrs. at the VA. Nothing like ambian i hated that, THC an CBD mixed helps shut out the noise i fall asleep quickly. Sweet tooth auto i got way back from New420guy seeds. For awhile i grew Purple punch and i'd buy Harliquin from my dispensary real cheap or another CBD flower. Yes i like to smoke

Well some folks get good returns for the 90days or less they grow. Me i'm lucky if i get 2oz that's why i don't grow less than 4-6 at a time. But i prefer photoperiods i just love them.

The forecast says the rain is over! Most things survived the flood not sure if I will replace the losses or not. Usually too cheap to buy plants and its a little late to go from seed for the peppers that I do not expect to recover. Either way I am glad the rain is done I have a bunch to do out there. I got my restock yesterday it had been well over 3 months since I had my pink kush as I skipped last round. Man that first joint felt like putting my own skin back on and I actually caught a buzz which is rare these days. Smoking this bud feels like the Island, it feels like home

I like to bottom water my seedlings and I also cut chunks out of my solo cups for good drainage.

I feel you on the starting seeds and buying plants! I was going to try for a whole leafy bed by seed but there isn’t enough time! And my money is going into the damned “chicken coop” so im not going to spend a bunch on seedlings. Maybe I could sew the seeds now and just cover them later with greenhouse plastic?
Great spirit though getting through the crop loss and glad you got your good smoke re up! Thats important!

Just a habit to cut them like that I think. I do it for my veggy starts too. Also gives me a window to see if roots are getting too snug.

I am attempting my leafy stuff indoors this year. I just recently learned its usually the light hours and not heat that puts most herbs and leafy greens to seed. I always thought it was the heat just one of those things I always heard people say and assumed to be true. I am hoping I can have a salad bar all summer this way instead of a bolted greens section in my garden
I am hoping my basil will last this year last year it would start going to seed as soon as it was mature enough. I had like 50 of them growing all over with my peppers and tomato plants so I managed to have plenty to use but I would love to be able to have one not go to seed!

Your set up is looking really good your plants too look really happy. Do you have chickens already or still in the build phase?

I like to put seedlings and clones in clear cups then drop the clear one into a red or whatever color one. Makes it real nice to see root development

Finally got around to weeding a bit. Going to start stringing my tomato plants today. I will gladly take half as many tomatoes as last year if my plants don't flop over. Going to pinch them out this year and manage that a bit better aim for a manageable weight.

Planted the rest of my seeds today. Noticed while doing so that Canuk seeds sent me gorilla glue not blue gorilla so I highly doubt I will be using them again between the bad customer service, charging for express shipping which they don't use and sending the wrong product I can safely file Canuk seeds under hard pass.

Edit:
I just checked my email and have a reply about my seeds so I feel obligated to mention it here. I could have caught them at a bad point in their business adventures so don't let my experience ward you off of them completely. Their seeds appear to be of quality 2 of 2 have sprouted thus far. So there is that.

Looks like they are sending me the correct seeds and possibly another freebie. I do have 2 extra solo cups prepped for a seed so maybe I will just add blue gorilla to the run if they get here fast.

Can't complain about more freebies! I respect the vendors that do right by the customer. Frustrating about the delay and mix-up, but now ya got some extra beans to experiment with next run.

I'm happy you are getting the real Blue Gorilla. Interested to see how that one plays out!
