IDK even know where to start so I'll start with this...Meet Oliver!!!
So here's where I'm at the moment..... Gathering supplies & seeds, cleaning the g-room and making adjustments and repairs.
Just pulled a decent haul of my home bred genetics last month, actually harvested on 4/20!
Hung it for about 3 weeks and now it's sitting in a tub ready to be cured in a wine fridge converted into a weed curing vault.
This is a little sample of that haul...Ript Banana I've inbred to itself twice since 2016
Every now and then I'll show off some of my cool toys like this one for example...An at home, mobile THC testing lab from Purple Scientific which I use to test everything I grow for selecting phenos, keeper strains, and just because it's really cool to test ones own weed.
Here's the test on that bud above for example
I'm feeling like I wanna jump right back into a new grow without delay during these days of isolation because my best friends seem to be dogs, cats, and plants lately. Oh and my wife too. She's pretty awesome.
I'm already missing my plant buddies being around so it's time to get a new squad together.
I'll be dipping into my homebred beans again but also venturing into some Greenpoint genetics, possibly Texas Butter or Eagle Scout but I have about 8 or so choices of Greenpoint gear to look over and decide.
I'm also welcoming some new genetics from..... (insert drumroll here)..... Twenty20 Mendo!
I have their California Chrome and Mendo Cookies en route.
When they arrive I'll post up the obligatory seed stash shot
While I'm putting this latest ganja grow project together I found myself into another project using lots of retired grow gear I've accumulated over the years into new projects to grow some food.
If you've been inside a decent hydroshop in the last 10 years some of this might look familiar.
I have hoarder blood coursing my veins so when I see used hydro gear for sale I tend to buy it and see if I like it. Some stuff gets resold on ebay but some things I keep for reasons yet to be known.
In doing that I've come up with this
The white metal stand is from a Hydrofarm ebb & flow shop demo with one of my first LED jobbers hanging. For some reason supplementing sunlight with el cheapo LED just seems like a good thing to do.⚙
The containers with plants are earthboxes. These are actually a great way to grow weed but they do make a grow a bit uneventful and without much challenge they work so well. I'll also be building an autowater system for the tubs.
TBH if I was'nt using the containers I do today I would still be using earthboxes in my g-room I like them so much.
Another of note worthy container is that old MegaFarm insert I loaded with soil and some baby cuke plants.
The robot never grew weed for me but he does make me smile often
All the soils used here are old soils from ganja gardens of days past revitalized with fresh amendments.
Much more to come as I get my shit together on this.
Indoors the grow will use organic stuff, California Lightworks LED, Philips 315 CMH and much more hoping to do just as well as other grows if not better
