nuts & fruits?!?!?! i bet that would hurt if you put your nuts in there!!!!!!!! don't do it man!! hahahahahahahaha
.
.
Lookin killer in the garden man!! and at least one of each strain is badass!!! you sounded kind of excited when you started the Dank Sinatras so thats cool you got extras of those!!!! and very cool on saving the power and soil n stuff... always awesome when ya have extras to start the next round!!
but bro, those ribs man,,,, daaaamn!!! made me so hungry for ribs, good thing i already had a rack in the fridge!!!!! just after i saw your video i went out in the kitchen and peeled off that nasty skin off the backside(forget what it called but you know what i'm talking about) rubbed em down and left em sit overnight and put em on the smoker the next day. a mix of birch and apple wood.... i never cooked em in foil like that so after seeing yours i gave it try.....ahhhh yeah. turned out awesome. i think they had more flavor cooking in their fats and juices in the foil like that.
i knew you would like that smoker once you got into it.... so controllable and consistency is the key to great bbq... fluctuations in temp is what ruins a good cut of meat!!!
and the water bin is another great feature. when i was making my smoker i read a lot about all kinds and everyone with a water bowl just bragged a lot,,, i know i'm very happy i put one in my smoker thats for sure.... you don't really notice it too much in fatty meats but lean stuff like a turkey or chicken and veggies you really appreciate the extra moisture from the water bowl.... get creative on what you put in the water bowl too... i've used beer and wine, sometimes juices or other drinks... gives that extra depth of flavor!!!!!
and bro i think you inspired me to start a small herb garden on the windowsill... tired of buying herbs in the store or having them out in the greenhouse i never want to walk out there in the middle of cooking... so yeah i think i'm gonna make up some little sip type containers for the window!!!
keep cool in the summer heat brother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
