GG4, Channel +, King Kong indoor grow.

Hi folks what's the craic!!!! How is everyone today?
Picked up a few clones last week and have a day off so i thought I'd whip up my first grow diary.

GROW DETAILS:
Introducing the ladies....All are clones... 2x GG4 3x Channel +(bigbudxskunk, medical seeds) 2xKing Kong (Dr. Underground)

Light... 600w dimmable lumatec with an adjusto wing.
Pots.... 14L(3.5gal) Soil is Dutch origins light mix.
Tent.... 120x120x180cm....6in extractor and a small one for fresh air intake.....couple of osscillating fans ... Nutrients..... i have plagron terra line of feed groow/bloom, root and green sensation.
I also have some Multikraft (Austrian) products these are full of micro-organisms bacterias for a foilar spray feed and a spray for pest/fungal control for the leaves and soil. Some of the different ingredients in those are: humic and phosphoric acid, kelp., garlic, chilli pepper,photosyntethic bacteria,micro-nutes, micro-organisms, sugar cane molasses etc etc...

The tent is in an attic in a box in another box :D due to the attic being a 100+ y/o gaf that has a vented attic which was a hay/meat store back in the day sitting at 900m elevation on the edge of the alps. Thank fuck summer is coming!!!!

Night/day temp swings can be pretty wild in the attic!! So i have 2 inkbird dual relay temperature controllers with a couple of heaters and a cooler/humidifier on the go.... so it stays where I want it to be currently at 25c (77f) 65% R/H.... "The box"....

The ladies were popping out their blocks when i collected em (forgot to get pics )and went straight into the pots with a lil mykorrhiza and wurzel complex under them 10 days ago, so far all but the two GG4 have been tooped...I pulled them over and have been training them almost daily, they have been given them a very light feed (200 ppm)along with a couple foliar feed and a sup of water. Few more snaps......

Update

So the ladies are settling in nicely now, they got another little feed between water and seem to be happy enough with the training I've done so far, after pulling the tops over the lowers all powered up and most the canopy is sitting at about 20 cm from the soil, and they are fillingout.

The only problem I've had was a temperature issue the outside temp got up pretty good and my cooler unit died so the temp hit 38c(100f) in the tent for a bit until I got back and McGuyver'd up this beauty with what fans and a small cooler I had about

The plants seemed ok after just a bit thirsty.
I will probably get a mini scrog going on them for support and flip em at the end of the week....

High folks just a little update

So the ladies are all good so far... they got a full feed on tuesday night with 800ppm and p/h 6.5 water....Temps are running a little higher than I would like, 29c/84f that's about the outside temp at the moment too so not much I can do until I get the condenser for my cooler in. I have two smaller coolers running that are only a placebo effect for me R/H is 50-60%

I also made up some individual mini scrogs for the pots out of my new dogs leftover fence...they can be moved up about 6 inches to adjust if I want and I can still take em out and move em about and keep a good eye for pests and problems too. I will put another up top when they stretch up.

Ha not sure how I managed to upload that pic of deer sign I took (I was very baked)

Aaanyway the canopy is filling out nice and pretty even , I'm away for a few days tomorrow so they will get a decent feed before I go and will mostly have to look after themselves. They are about 25cm tall from soil to top at 15 days in the pots. I will flip 12/12 when I'm back.

Bit of an update...
Day 21 in the pots. Temps 28°c/82°f -3° nighttime R/H 60%

After 4 days away the ladies soil was drier than Ghandis flip flop, but had really popped and filled out the tent and are looking healthy and the stems are thickening up nice.... They got a load of straight p/h'd water and a bit of tidying up underneath and the screens moved up, then flipped to 12/12 last night...

I also took a few cuttings too, cut the ends at 45° and dipped in some rizotonic some went straight in soil and others just in water, I havnt managed to successfully take clones the couple times I tried it so will see how they go

Day 25 in pots Day 5 flower. Temp. 26c r/h 60%
So the ladies are coming along nicely now filling out more everyday and a few pre flower pistils about , lots of tucking and pushing about leaves and branches everyday... The 3 channel + are the stretchy ones of the lot

the only issues I have is one of the gorillas seems to be holding the water for a day or two longer than the others and is the stumpy of the bunch...not sure why but I'm skip a watering let her dry out nice and good see how it goes... and also have a few pests,little blackflies and have found a couple aphids in the water run off, sticky traps everywhere now.... and I have a spray with mix of the mk5 pest control and some homemade garlic rosemary and tomato leaf oil I made.... hopefully that'll hold em off.

Hi folks so the ladies are flying along now.. lots of buds and pistils starting to form. only slight issue is one of the king Kong's is a lil light green compared the rest but still powering on up... They will get full bloom nutes next feed

The clones I put in soil also seem to have some growth on a couple after a week altho can't see any roots through the soil yet, I presume a couple have put down some roots also have some in water but no sign of any movement on those ones.

Bit of an update on these ladies, Day 24 flower,lights on temp 30c(86f) r/h 50%.. feeds twice a week with 500ppm @6.7ph of bloom nutes and the antipest concoction (seems to be working hadn't seen anymore aphids or fliers

So over the last week or so we have had some crazy heat here with temps 35+ most days leaving my space in the attic sweltering, add in more cooler trouble and its been tough to stay under 34c in the tent. My clones all died (RIP) when I forgot to take em out one night and they got cooked in the heat. One or two of the plants have some of the leaf serrations pointing up which I presume is the heat. I did get a cool tube hood to help the lights on temp creeping up on me and will hopefully have a decent cooling option sorted asap

Apart from all that they are done stretching and are starting to get some sugar coming through. The one gorilla that got topped and the lowest branches fimed stretched out much more than the other and is a beast. And one of the king kong did the same but the canopy is much more filled out even with two less plants this run.

The ladies are trucking along nice now with a tasty looking canopy. End of week 6 flowering,
The two gorillas took a bit longer to turn and are a bit behind the rest with trich production but are forming up some nice big tops..... I also have a bit of leaf curl and a little bit of nute burn coming through on a couple, so it's been a balancing act with the water/feed on them all

We are in week 6 flower now, temp 25°/77f 60% rh. 500ppm feeds.

I ended up having to reconfigure the setup as the crazy heat outside was getting to them with some yellowing and tacoing.
I was getting 37c/100+ temps in the tent. The canopy was also all squished up together so I had to bite the bullet and finally got a decent ac unit. But it wasn't gonna fit in there I ended up properly sealing the lung room and have just opened the tent and pulled the plants out the door a bit to open the canopy up a bit and increase airflow and control the environment

Over the last week I had to put lots of stakes in to hold up the bigger buds as they were starting to flop over!! They also got a bit of defoiliation to open up more lower bud sites. Lots of frosty coming through now and the buds are swelling nicely. Channel +:

6 of the 7 are coming along nicely lots of but one of the gorillas took a hit in the heat and is a bit sick now with yellowing up one side of her and she isn't drinking much, although I think it's not getting worse now the temp is under control.

End of Week 8...So these ladies are not too far away lots of nice frosty trichs coming up and getting a bit of fade coming through too. The smell is also intense... The feed will be dropped back this week and il get a couple of flushes in on them apart from the two gorillas which il let go a bit longer.

The two gg4 are still a ways behind the King Kong and the Channel+ maybe by a week or two.... A GG4 bud.

So the ladies are pretty much done, for finishing up they will have had a flush and let dry right out with 48 hrs dark then chop chop. One king kong and one channel + came down Wednesday, they had a wet weight off the sticks just over 500g,
two more down today and the last 3 tonight. I had some nanners pop up on the gorillas the last 10 days and iv been pulling them as I see em, saw one seed too.
Pretty happy how they turned out overall they all smell delicious. Will see how final weight works out
