I've only seen 2 seed lines that were true breeding in the modern day.

Ever since people started growing in pots rather than fields, individual plants can't share their exudates to maintain homogeneity, and over time completely seperated into "phenotypes"

Thats probably why they don't have skunk on the west coast anymore. It requires something like an cedar, an orange, and a phenolic, and each plant grown separately in artificial environments (which don't trigger much of a genetically encoded response) for so long, each component has went alpha in one of those 3 directions, in three different plants.

Homogenous crops are lost on the current breeder, who makes dumb assumptions about the suppossed superiority of plant science over real world observations.. The closest thing to Homogenous crops most people see today is by loading it down with molasses or bottled snake oils that make the entire crop the same with unnatural additives. As far as bud structure goes, who the fuck knows where these seedbank come up with phenotypes that don't look anything like the real deal.

Oregon Elite has some decent breeders.. You really shouldn't be trying to grow hype strains. They have one purpose: yield heavy and then convince the masses it's quality smoke. Like Blue Dream.. Shit smoke, easy to yield, so convince everyone it's top shelf.
