mine has some fat leaves on them. its 9 lb hammer. the picture was about a month ago and the leaves are likebthe size of my head now. is that healthy?
Look at these babiesI was just wondering if anyone removes the huge fans leaves form their plants. I have some plants from seed and they have some 8-9" wide fan leaves on 12" plants and they are blocking the light from penetrating to the lower branches.
Sorry and all those solar panels. Possible ice, moonshine , or greyskull you are correct. It’s 25 or 26 days today and popping out its 3 rd set of mature leaves. I need photosynthesis for my 1 flower.I refuse lol. Those are my solar panels for my 1 flower. I have never cut this plant. I pack sand in the nodes to make them shoot to the top. 1 root system feeding 1 flower.
My pruning technic.Got a nice big indica running? You are better off leaf tucking rather than pruneing at this point. Later on you can prune off some of the big fans off your branches but make shure you dont take off to much and leave all the fans low on your plant alone you still need them in flower for nutrient uptake.
Im just curious as to why u block the nodes? Is it because u want 1 big bud? I bet playdough would work. Just never seen this before and kind of curious. My pruning technic.
The goal is 1 root system, as the plant grows it makes roots nutrient roots for the nodes. Well by putting sand on them the start to make them but the plant in its own abandons them. 1 cola being fed by all that photosynthesis and 1 root system in theory should make Audrey two. I have what I’m doing in another forum with the same name if you would like to check it out. I expose to UVB with no ill effect. That will make the plant program itself to defend against that light by making trichomes and bigger buds. You just have to dose It though.Im just curious as to why u block the nodes? I’m also working on LS topping. No more dormancy or stunted growth, no release of hormones and the play dough idea was a good one I got cannibus butter. But I used the wrong jar and it’s sauce on the plant.
I’m thinking of calling this dirty poppingThe bigger plant is 27 days old.
Stacked was topped at day thirteen and that’s day 16 , no one topped their plant at that age. It’s time travel for the quader and mainline. Also energy consumption.
It’s growing in under 250 watts total for the whole including humidifier and other equip. Why pay moreI’m thinking of calling this dirty popping

I totally agree. Personally I never mess with those big leaves during veg, having said that, when they go into flower, I only remove the fan leaves which are keeping the sun from entering into the canopy, or blocking any and all buds (I grow outdoor). Two weeks before harvest I start flushing and during that 2 week time frame I start removing the fan leaves attached to the plant by a long stem. The closer to harvest they get, the more I strip the plant of those small leaves which are dull green (no resin on them). The shiny leaves are sugar leaves, which are loaded with THC. I keep them attached until after the plant is harvested and dried. That is when I remove the sugar leaves and they are saved in zip lock bags and refrigerated (the little lady likes to put them in our greens and salad). If the fan leaf is detrimental to growth then yes if ur in veg no dont take any foliage off but if in flower dont be afraid to open up the plants bud sites by taking off huge fan leafs also if leaf is bigger then hand take it off this is for indoor plants not outdoor
It’s not the light that makes them push brother. The nodes have had dirt on them all the time yet they are pushing. Never cut the the fan leaves because all they do is take in light. If they are getting bigger they are getting more light.I totally agree. heya farmer they look very healthy.I have a similar issue. I'm growing blue widow under LED's in a 4 x 4 tent. The fan leaves are getting huge and I feel like the plant is growing out sideways as opposed to vertically. I posted a picture. Any comments or tips would be helpful. This is my very first grow.
