Gorilla Glue 4/5 x 5 Tent Grow

I don't think a humidifier is going to affect your girls much but as long as you're in the zone then keep it up!!!

It was super humid today so I'm going to start removing the branches from the main stem tonight. Dry is going well other than the battle with humidity and temp but product seems to be drying at the correct rate. Once I separate branches I'll probably try and do a rough trim and let them get into cure before I do a final trim.

Removed the branches from the main stem, rough trimmed the leaves and hung for finish drying. Outer flower is starting to feel leathery with a slight crunch. This tells me that the dry phase is almost over and in a few days it'll be time to remove the flowers from the branches and get them on the net to begin the cure process.

Current tent specs:

Temp - 74*
Humidity - 60%
VPD - .99 kPa

Branches were starting to get to the "snap" point so I decided to forego hanging the branches any longer and just go straight to net. I figure a couple days on the net while I fine trim them and get them into jars to begin the cure portion of the grow. Couldn't find the other 3 sections to my net dryer so I had to kind of overload the ones I have.

Current tent specs:

Temp - 70.1*
Humidity - 56%
VPD - .95 kPa

This grow seemed like it finished exceptionally well considering you were gone for so long. I would say your auto irrigation system definitely works! Frosty looking flowers from Elev8. I have a few seed packs from them that I'l eventually get to, they seem like a good breeder. Congrats on a successful harvest!

Thank You! One of the lessons I learned working in licensed ops was the less we intrude the better overall for the girls. Certainly keep an eye out for disease or infestation but other than that let them do their thing. I remember the master grower yelling at one of the newbs because he was so enamored seeing one of the 40 light rooms with a sea of colas!! He kept saying "They aren't going to grow any faster with you looking at them!!" LOL!

I also believe that my not hovering over the grow reduced the chances of my bringing infection or infestation into the garden. At one facility I worked at each room had an air curtain you walked through into a hall where they continued to blow air all around you while they sucked the air out of the hallway through a filtration system. Once the process was over a second door leading into the flower room unlocked and you could then enter the flower room. I thought it was way overkill until the botanist explained to me that these protocols were necessary in a commercial op since an infection or infestation would be costly due to the amount of plants exposed in the room.

Damn....ran out of jars. I have an order in for 4 pickle jars. They should arrive today. Thankfully it's been very humid here so the flowers are on the net and maintaining a good humidity level. Give me time to get my jars.

Ever try Grove terp loc bags? You can get a pound bag for $10 I think on Amazon. They have bag tech that let's gas out but not in, maintains whatever humidity the bud is as long as it's sealed. No burping.

I've read a little about them. I might give them a try on this next round. I think I have a lead on some OG Kush cuts. I'm thinking of going clone moreso to cut down the amount of time I need to get to flower. It should cut around 4 weeks out of the process.

Cure Jar


Girlfriend got into it and said it's really a bright high on the front end and then it just drops you off the edge into real stoney feeling. Not couch lock but stony and happy! I'm going to wait until the flower has fully cured before I taste it. Starting to get a chocolatey smell to it.

So I'm going to call it on the dry and cure. Final dry weight to date is 461 grams although it's hard to say exactly since my damn GF kept getting into it. I'd estimate she's smoked at least a couple ounces judging from the multitude of joints I've had to roll for her!!! If I factor in what she's smoked it would come to around 517 grams. Roughly half a P a light. Not bad for just 2 plants.

Next run I'm going to see if I can evenly split the branch layout when I spread them across the screen. I'm going to try and make it look like someone that parted their hair in the middle!!!😄 I'm trying to completely fill the 5 x 5 canopy edge to edge.
