Got a virus today

What's going on farmers, well as you know I have been trying to find a site to download music from and I got a virus called the TROJAN.Brisv.A!inf not really sure if it fucked up my P.C. my virus software got a hold of it before it could do what it wanted. just wanted to see if any body has ever got this virus and what did it do thanks again. catch you around later

Trojan.Brisv.A is a Trojan horse that infects multimedia files. This trojan search for multimedia files with extension .asf, .mp2, .mp3, .wma, .wmv and injects addtional functionality into the multimedia files it finds. While playing these infected multimedia files Windows Media Player will access a malicious link on the internet.

if you want the best place to download music... search for (soulseek) its free...used it for 5+ years never caught anything but killer music from the site.

I use www.demonoid.com for music, programs, etc.

demonoid.com is invite only, but they have complete discographies as well. I've downloaded Pink Floyd's and Santana's discographies, after losing so many cds over the years :P If anyone wants an invite code shoot me a PM. Y'all get the five finger THC discount :smiley_joint:

Then I use www.empornium.us for porn, they have fuckin everything dude. From obscure little sites like brazzers, naughty america, to Vivid Video. There is no viruses on empornium.us

This is all using bit torrent, windows I would recommend utorrent or arctic torrent, mac, its gotta be transmission.

I've worked for a few PC Repair spots and for virus / spyware removal what i find to work best is. Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware FREE Version (dont get the full that cost money its more annoying then anything. MSE is for your all time protection and Malwarebytes is a scanner you run from time to time. Another good program to download is called RKill. What is does is shut down all processes on your computer. what you want it to shut down is the virus/malware on your computer cause most times there running in the background and they trick the virus scanners from detecting them. So run RKill first. Then scan with MBAM and MSE. They even work better if ran in safemode. If these don't work we'd normally tell you its best to reformat your computer. I now run my own PC Repair Company and worked for 3 other ones so i know what im talking about. Learned alot of new tricks from each place. Anyone need any pc help ask me.
