I never even thought about that. What kind of plants are along the hedge row there? Is there black walnut trees or any other phytotoxic plants around?
Could be lots of things but shouldn't be too hard to narrow down. Other options are, nutrients of course, creatures have burrowed up into the stalks of those branches, russet mites, etc.
I would go there and attempt to move it. Dig deep and as wide as you can around the plant and if you feel like its not going well just take some big clones and try and root them for her?So, if you had a plant, that had already been in ground for over a month, and it was planted 3 feet from a small walnut tree that i nos poisoning your plant. And the walnut stump had grown weaving back and forth through a chain link fence and is impossible to remove, and your plants i s already tangled up with the roots anyway. What would you do?
Im pretty sure that tree is going to kill her plant, it already hasnt really grown any in over a week, now that entire section of the plant is wilting and yellowing off. Im assuming its being poisoned directly by the roots of the black walnut tree. Even if she could take it to harvest, the plant isnt going to make flower anyone should be consuming regardless.
Awaiting today's photo, but much like yesterday im expecting it to be good bit worse then the day before.
I feel really bad, i forgot about juglone in the black walnuts, i havent lived down here in several years. Is her first time growing anything outside a usual vegge garden, and its her favorite strain ive ever had to grow. (pre 2010 bubba kush x gelato 41)
Im the one who said that spot should be fine too. Feel terrible now.
Or maybe just take clones and leave it where it is to make it or not?So, if you had a plant, that had already been in ground for over a month, and it was planted 3 feet from a small walnut tree that i nos poisoning your plant. she tried last night, the roots are fully intermingled with the walnut. Was a tree with a stump a few inches thick and the plant was put only a few feet from it.I would go there and attempt to move it. Well if thats the case I would take.it home too. Can always bring her a bag later or a new clone. Not sure of the season length where you are though. Seasons just getting started here really.she tried last night, the roots are fully intermingled with the walnut. Ill be going over there after work to see what i can do. She doesnt have another equally secluded spot to use, she lives in a neighborhood, if it moves its coming home with me to be nursed a bit. If some of the walnut roots come with it, itll probably be broken down into clones, treated heavily for pests and rooted and kept inside. Its the only regular pheno of my bubba x gelato that's left existing now
you can plant in April her eusually just fine. Youll usually only see a night or two from then on in the 40s.Well if thats the case I would take.it home too. It was 43° here last night.you can plant in April her eusually just fine. Youll usually only see a night or two from then on in the 40s.
First frost is usually late october/early november. Biggs is a mid october strain. She'll def be getting a clone back, so long as its out by july she should see a harvest it may just be small and a little late, but itll have time to finish.
it got super cold for June here last night, made it down to 63 lol.It was 43° here last night.
Our june has been rainy but the temps are fairly on point. June is when everyone tends to put out tomato plants and other warm season crops. Similar first frost as you though mid to late october usually. Last frost is end of April.it got super cold for June here last night, made it down to 63 lol.
our last frost is usually late march/early april. But by the end of april, usually things like tomoatos and squah/nuchinni are going down. Our june has been rainy but the temps are fairly on point. Wow not here. You have to work extra hard to get tomatoes by July here unless you have a greenhouse. I have extremely limited space so I don't start early as I would like and I really didn't put as much into the garden this year as last effort wise. I probably wont have tomatoes until early August. I noticed some peas are nearly ready this morning though.our last frost is usually late march/early april. But by the end of april, usually things like tomoatos and squah/nuchinni are going down.
Ive already harvested a few dozen cucumbers, have hundreds coming, and there's about 50 zuchinni between the 3 plants growing. My tomatos are just getting going good, but i coulda put them out a couple months ago and already have loaded bushes, i just started them from seed too so took a bit longer. I do already have a small basket of tomatos and will be picking some peppers this weekend lol. the eggplant arent too far behind but theyre def slower then the rest. Just now making flowers. The beans are already fruiting heavily lol.
Yea, had i planted my romas when i plantd the zuchini and cucumber, id have 5 foot bushes loaded by now lmao.Wow not here.
