Hope all the insect problems are resolved.
So someone had same issue and learned to use hot water from the tap... poured over the plants and instantly killed all bugs.... I did this with a shirt I was wearing and threw it in bathtub..I spotted spider mites on one of my two plants in my 2x2 tent. I know they're spider mites because I've seen them before. They were on one plant, mostly just above the lollipop and on the side of the plant closest to the other plant. The plants are sativa. It's the 5th week of flowering.
This is what I did.
I cut out all the leaves that had signs of spider mite damage. Then I cut an additional 6 to 8 inches of plant around the area where I saw them. I made sure to create space between the two plants. I bagged the leaves and put them in the outside garbage.I sprayed everywhere with a 1:1 mix of water to 3% H2O2, including the underside of the leaves. I also sprayed the other tent that has a small vegging plant in it. Then I sprayed the floor and my shoes.I washed my clothes, and I took a shower. Then I sprayed the tent again.I increased the humidity setting for the tent from 51% to 55%.
Now I'm thinking about what to do next. I'm worried that I might have hurt the small vegging plant because its top is bent over, but I sure don't want an infestation of spider mites. I understand they need to be treated aggressively.
Today, I'll probably keep spraying H2O2 every few hours. My wife doesn't want to use anything that might harm her cats or us humans. One of the cats loves to eat cannabis leaves. I can keep the cats out of the room, though, and the room has a window. I'm also worried about the buds.
I have some Neem, Spinosad and no-pest strips. I'd sure appreciate any other ideas.
Boiling water or from the tap?So someone had same issue and learned to use hot water from the tap... poured over the plants and instantly killed all bugs.... I did this with a shirt I was wearing and threw it in bathtub..

I caught them outside on normal weeds... not cannabis weed...but I toom.shirt off ran under hot tap and they were DEADI spotted spider mites on one of my two plants in my 2x2 tent. Hope you feel better, man.I'm the OP and I've been sick, so I haven't posted lately. I'm feeling better, but not quite well yet.
I was able to get rid of the spider mites. I lost one plant that seemed to give in to the stress of me cutting off so much of the plant. The other plants survived and there has been no sign of spider mites. I used AgroMagen GrowSafe. It cost $45 for about a quart and was a lot more than I needed.
Some folks refuse to try new things, but I'm glad it worked for you! I've been dealing with spider mites both 2 spotted and red for years and years. It's quite literally the best and safest means for getting rid of mites. Aphids, too. Not some shit that's meant for ornamental plants. Glad I haven't bought weed in years for that reason, alone. You never know what people are doing to their plants when nobody is looking!I'm the OP and I've been sick, so I haven't posted lately. I'm feeling better, but not quite well yet.

Thanks. I am feeling better, but I'm not all the way back yet. I had a bad infection that's been hard to cure.Hope you feel better, man.
It worked very well. Spider mites are so resilient and cause so many problems, people probably don't believe there's something that works as well as GrowSafe does. I didn't, but you were right. I sprayed twice and haven't seen any sign of spider mites since. Some folks refuse to try new things, but I'm glad it worked for you!
I thought the same thing when someone told me to burn everything. I wasted a year, lost $2K in elite genetics I have never been able to replace, all the time, effort, electric, insecticides, etc.. Wish I had listened.Your coming off as rude. The man is trying to save his plants. You already said your piece and now are just being a jerk about it.
