starting to see some burnt crisp leaves on my deep water culture plants.... should i just add water next couple fill ups?

Just a guess but if it says it's a 1500 W it's a 1500 watt lamp and your 1000 watt ballast isn't going to fully ignite it. (wrong start voltage/run voltage)

if it sounds too good... oh..you know....
