allo. i have seen that fan leaves can take root if taken as a cutting, i was just wondering if it might be possible to graft a growing branch to a fan leaf stem

Quite confused why one would even think that makes any sense to do? No roots, just a branch grafted to a leaf?? Maybe I'm missing something..

So what does a plant do with a rooted fan leaf? I assume the answer is to die a week later but I could be wrong. What would the benefit be as opposed to a real cutting? Seems to be putting the cart before the horse.
