I know, another dumb question ***shame***

when I hear yields of grams per watt, what are they using for wattage? wall wattage of the LEDs?

for instance:
I have a PlatinumLED p600 that has a wall wattage of 345 watts with the veg and bloom switches turned on. I'm going to end up with roughly 225g (1/2 lb) of nugs this run. would that be 225/345 or .65 grams/watt?

or do I use the 200 3-watt LEDs number as 600 watts?

not great, but I declared success for my very first run };-)

Its usually used to measure hid lights I think, but in your case I would measure it to the wall wattage.

Hey, it's not that serious, wall wattage and the dried or cured harvest is what I've used. I think that's the "norm". If we went off the claimed wattage of fixtures nobody would ever approach 1grm/ watt.
