I make this pretty much the same way as blaze with 2 minor changes i thought might help, so i decided to post.

first, i let gravity do most of the work for me, letting me work alone as well as do prep while it drains itself.

second i use a metal stainer to strain the plant material. why put the wear and tear on the bags right?

looks real nice - gravity? so you dont do any mixing at all and just let the drain effect do the work for you?

oh no, i mix. i just let gravity do all the work of lifting/pouring the water..

That's how I do it. If you use the 5gal buckets Northern Brewer has a 7gal bucket with a spigot at the bottom that works PERFECTLY for this. Bunch of ice at the bottom so the bags don't get sucked into the outlet, and then the only lifting I have to do is to change batches and get the hash. But it's no big deal because the water is already drained.
