Still got time on Kona 1. Hope it continues to track with seed maturity. Most all stigmas are gone but very few amber and mostly the bulbous and on sugar leaves. Kona 2 and Oaxacan still have a while.
Rain forecast is mixed, may get a pissing, make get a decent soak. Only time.

No kidding. She looks to be startin her stretch so any week now. I suspect by mid Oct she'll be flowering for real so maybe a New Years chop. But we'll see.

I'll keep her alive just to watch at this point. Next year....in the shop at night for 12 starting in Sept.

This was the plant seen on the right in the previous post. It was the non STS treated plant and purposely pollinated by the STS treated plant.

Next after it drys I’ll start harvesting the remaining seeds.

Whacked the pollinated branches from Kona 1. Grabbed one fat bract to look and see. Capts 86 Kona female x @corey827 Kona preservation run. This female pheno was the fastest to flower and will be finished first too. Likely another week.

Out of just a few comes many. And a plateful yet to finish drying and checking. Then another plant to harvest.

Since the seed looked good on the receiving CBD plant I said heck with it and cut down the the one that I reversed two limbs on. I cut those off weeks ago after I knew love was in the air.
This pheno of the Maverick is definitely purple and definitely smells of fuel mixed with fruit and lemon.

Yup. I got 60+ out of the Kona #1 two buds I pollinated.
