I test all of my bulbs before I put them into use with a light meter. There is a point of diminished return when it comes to extra lumens versus cost. It is something to take into account.
shit when you put thousands of dollors into a grow I will be damned if Im going to buy a cheap assed bulb, were talking a 100 dollors or less defferance in price. a messly 1/4 oz. just doesent make sense to go cheap
^ I can never understand when people seek to save $20-50 on a bulb, or ferts, or soil... etc etc etc
Thank you for saying it grizz..
that investment will be returned by a few nugs in the palm of your hand at the end of it all, while the the benefits reaped from a quality setup will be overflowing gallon bags worth thousands...
How about the Gavita lamps? Anyone try those? They are really intriguing to me. The spects I have seen are impressive. I see one on ebay for $60. Think I might try one.
