Anyone have experience with Green Air products? Specifically their CO2 generators? I'm considering running one (instead of bottled CO2.) Just would like some feedback on their reliability, ease of use, etc. Thanks in advance.

I second this. looking at their 48k btu with the dual heat exchanger tubes

I just picked one of them up. I have not got to use it yet but it sure does look bad ass...

I know right! Id like to know what % of the heat produced is removed. Do they state a recommended cfm for the fan used to exhaust it?

It came with no info asfar as what size fan to run. Kinda wish it was just one 6 inch tube insted of 2 4 inch tubs. But hey, we can make it work.

Well we agree they LOOK awesome. ;-) Just gotta know if they work and are reliable.....

fwiw

edit: i just noticed that generator is a 48? if so? that's a big mofo
mine is a little cd 6 with out the air cooling tube
a cd6 is about 90 hours on a 5 gal tank and a 48 is about 12 hours of burn time

I recently had an older model upgraded to electronic ignition and it failed within a month. The guy who handles emails was a douche because I was slightly pissed the thing failed so quickly. I'm not saying I was justified in being such a jerk to the guy, but when money is on the line, irritations can occur.

That being said, they figured it HAD to be something I did. They had to point out that I used teflon tape on the connections when they said not to, so therefore it had to be my fault. Honestly, they were dickheads. Never could it be that something failed with their product, it all had to be my fault and they continually reminded me of this in email dialogues.

they were also fucking slow as shit fixing and sending the unit back and it turned out it that the ignition module failed, so it was nothing I did.

On the other hand, i was having an issue with my Sentinel controller. They send me very quickly a loaner, fixed and shipped my unit within the day of receiving, and were super cool.

so my .02 is FUCK green air, I'll never buy your shit again for being such dickheads. I'll take chinese made with great customer service over american with shitty attitudes.

dud now you say that.. lol I think the head tech is buck or someshit like that...
anywho HE IS A BIG FAT DUESH...
I rember this high amperage t-stat I had bought for my a.c and called him to see what wires were really suppose to go where.beause directions were garbage...
So anywho he was rude short and pretty much acted like I was bothering him.. Probly some fat old dude thinking about lunch be4 he went 2 bed the night be4...

seriously though ive used titan controlers and green air controlers timers co generator etc.. AND THERE BOTH BUILT 2 LAST...
sentinal I really should give an opion since Ive never used...

BUT STAY AWAY FROMANYTHING CR.A.P.

yeah, he is a douche. One of those guys who thinks it can never be his products fault, must be the end user. he certainly didn't volunteer what the problem ended up being till i asked... that shut him up :) even the paper they included showing the techs assessment was fucking retarded.

for the price, it seems like green air is a bit dated. when i was looking for a master controller, i didn't even give GA a look.

yes, CAP, I mean CRAP, is exactly what it says...crap

so right before i sent out the GA for repair, I had bought a sentinel for my second room. I really liked the build/design of the sentinel. mind you, i did have a faulty chhc-4, but in my opinion the customer service of sentinel was outstanding.

everything breaks, but how a company handles the repair process is huge... i believe they call it customer service.
