Gridwall as a scrog screen?

Is there any reason not to use gridwall panels as scrog screens?

They are cheap and come in 4 x 2 panels with 3” squares.

Im worried that they might not be safe to use with plants. Not sure what they use as a finish/final coat.

Just watch out fot galvanized(zinc coated stuff) if it id coated i wouldnt. If its bare metal its fine. I use wire animal fencing with 2x4 inch rectangles. Take a knife and scrape the metal to see if its coated. I see this threads older but still, stay safe. Peace
