As this is my first grow I went with the “new” hipe, grove bags. It sounded straight forward. I already had the wood moist meter and was only growing 2 plants. I dried for about a week inside my 2by2 tent at about 60/60…. By then the meter said 10-11 percent. I was surprised it didn’t take longer but into the bags they went. Problem was I couldn’t keep it at the 58-62 percent rh. I was more like 65. I took it out and went back to drying. This has been going on for about a week now with me thinking my weed was ready for bags/cure. In and out of bags for the next week and in now realizing I didn’t get the meter deep enough. Today I did another reading and the big buds read 11, so they went in the bag. The small buds also read about 11 but once bagged they went up to 68. I put some in a jar and that quickly jumped to 69. I’m now trying to get them stable but as u can see in the picture I’m at RH in the basement and don’t know if that is hindering me. I could turn on the ac but I’m starting a new grow and therefore it’s turned off. Any suggestions?

I’ve used them for nearly 3 years. Keep doing what you are doing. You don’t want to Grove bag anything that goes over 64%. I have learned this the hard way. It would be the same with jars so you can’t blame the bags.

If I have some stubborn buds that are over 64%, I spread them out on a cookie sheet for an hour or two, rebag and check again, repeat. A small fan blowing over the top of the buds laid out, not directly on them, will speed this along. I also try to use 2 of those shitty little RH meters and average the 2 readings.
