Well grow no. 3 is starting out to be a total cluster F!

The grow I wanted did not happen and had to substitute strains from my original plan. My seeds had gotten lost in the mail. UG!

The original plan was White Widow, Gelato 44, Haze Berry and ICE. Ended up with Dynamite Diesel, Special Queen, Punch Pie (again) and Fat Banana (again). Oh well.... at least I will still have a harvest even though not the one I wanted.

So.... I get the seeds in the soil. I start mine out seed to soil. If the seeds are good, I have a very good success rate with this. After about 48 hours, I have 4 sprouts. WOO HOO!!!! Everyone popped at the same time. Thinking, ok.... not the grow I wanted but it seems to be going well so far.

I get up today and notice that one of the new plants on on its side. 😳 Totally horizontal. Not dying as the top was bent upward toward the light. I propped it up with some wire to get it vertical again and I am hoping it will work itself out. It seems I seeded these a little too close to the surface.

I hope that they will thicken up in the stalks and I will not have anymore bend on me. I think they will be ok, I just need to wait to transplant into final pots another week or so.

This photo is from yesterday (before the bend). The front right is the one that went horizontal. But as you can see.... they are tall and skinny.... I kept the seeds a little closer to the surface in case I had one that didn't sprout. If one does not pop I need to take a photo (of the seed) and send it off to customer service and they send me a replacement. So I try to keep it where I can find it LOL! I am running a good success rate. 11 seeds, 10 plants. (over 3 grows not all at once).

I was going to transplant into their final pots yesterday.... I will have to wait for a bit now. I'll give them another week or two in these and see how well they hold up. 🤞

it's not unusual for some seedling to need some support after a few days, if it don't recover could also be a case of dampening off. You'll usually get a hint watching how look the base of the trunk.

your seedlings are a tad bit stretchy, you can probably have the light at higher % and/or closer

I just pile some soil around the base
A light breeze will help them strengthen up

You can put them on upside down pots to raise them so it’s closer to the light if you’ve others that are bigger/older as it looks like you may

Thank you. I will make the adjustment. 👍
Hi I use a 100 watt vipar spectra at 18 inch above I had it on 25 percent for two week my seedlings stretched and a couple fell over I then increased my light intensity to 50 percent and they thicken up nice now my lights on 75 percent and I've got a little forest going nice thick stems there about 28 days old now. The picture is a few days ago

Get something to stop them falling over a little support you'll be cooking with gas 👍

Lowered the lights.... they were high. I am at 19" still 20 % light. I had issues with the 1st grow messing around with the lights too much. I will give this a day or two and see what happens. I have a 300w light,

Mars Hydro FC3000-EVO 300W LED, I do not want to give too much light too soon and burn them out. Ug.... copy paste formatting.... :(

On the plus side... grow two the branches were too close to the soil, this grow they will be a bit taller from the soil when transplanting. 😁
