depends on what size your plants will be/ density per m2
and how much time you plan to water each day

the 4' will allow the plants to establish faster at start

under 10 plants per m2 go with the 6'
for a direct 12/12 (or very short growth time), with 20plants per m2 go with the 4'

in ebb flow th 4' will be easier to water completely .. the 6' are 6' high, if you only flood your tables on 2' the salts will dry out and concentrate on the top layer of the blocks .. not good

i would use the 4

i do a SOG using standard 4x4x2.5" cubes on a 4' table. lets me flood right up to top of the block preventing any salt build up.
