I say you post up at high elevation and survey your plants and wait for your target to identify itself, then exterminate with extreme prejudice. 🤣

Just dont spray it, if you wanna spray it you need micronized diatomaceous earth or you will clog them fast. Dont know if it clogs one of those water pressure sprayers but it certainly clogs the small ones and I went through 3 before I realized hahaha they didnt recover either.
Diatomaceous earth is only effective when it’s dry, once it gets wet it clumps up and forms into a clay. At least in larger applications. You want it dry and covering the soil surface. Any insect that goes through it will get cut severely multiple times until they bleed out .

Wondering if I could apply a small about after I water? I do have a small amount of perlite left, I could build a little layer of that over the pro mix and soils im using. Then maybe the DE wouldn’t get so wet and maybe dry out faster after watering?
If plants are in a saucer water from the bottom for a week or two while de does its thing. Then either work it into the top layer of soil or try to remove it. I’ll physically remove what i can then work rest into the soil.

They are not in saucers but I could totally water that way the next time. I can find something around to make that happen! Dude this one is exciting! I’ve dunked my plants in flower and now I may try to bottom water! Thats what this thread is all about! The whacky and wild! But then if it works is it really that whacky or wild? 🤔 lol!

One way to find out I guess! If you have enough of those stickies, You could probably cut them up and lay them on the soil surrounding the base of the plant, so that anything walking has to crossover them! Or smear some Vaseline on some cardboard and do the same! Tanglefoot has gotten pretty expensive! But you never want to smear Vaseline, or tanglefoot directly onto the stalk!
Definitely worth having sticky traps strategically placed around plants and points of entry.

I’ll be seminating more before lights out. I’d like to set the day time traps and then creep in there and catch those little boogers in action!
If you sticky trap the points of entry, you can then make a perimeter of them around the plants, and hang a few too. Then lay down the Diatomaceous Earth. Then set up a green light for nighttime surveillance. You will find something, or go crazy in the process. Either way we got your back. Kill some fuckin bugz Bear!!
