Grow diary mission impossible (low to medium budget lol)

Not sure what happened this run. Only thing different is I had more overall wash I let evap and I had a seedling mat under the dish. Maybe it’s still doing something? Last batch had the lipids but not like this. I’m not seeing any evaped “crude”? I’ll let it sit for today and see what happens. Guess I’ll go back to my one jar rinse lol. This is what happens when I try and get cool lol!

Maybe you shook it a little too long! Could be that bone dry weed is more sensitive to length of shake! I don’t know much about it! I think this is one for JJ or Nick! Looks like you’re extracting all of the wax you can out of it!

I slow rolled it and only for a minute this time. Last wash was the full 2min. I’m ok with getting the lipids and wax and all. I just thought there would be more end crude product in there. Horribly disappointed in this run at this point. Unless JJ or Nick have a solution for me

2 things I see I might try different, but I’m no expert.

Get a Buckner funnel and pump
Winterize the wash

Maybe not in that order but it will move up a notch

Could very well be. I’ve not done a fast wash like Nick, I see the upside to it but I’m a cheapskate and want everything I can get from a wash. Overnight washing is all I’ve done

Dumped a bunch of the watery white stuff off into the yard. Got a really horrible picture close up, im thinking i can either heat it up and try and separate the white from the crude, or i can just try another run with iso into a jar and let it separate again in the fridge (if it works that way chemistry wise?)

Well sure fucking did bro! Woke up and it was freaking cloudy and looked like rain! Using that 99.9%iso there should (in theory) be zero water in it. And now im thinking the first batch i did might have pulled a little moisture out of the air. Dude what a thought! : )
I was reading up on winterization of qwiso (which some think you dont do it) im not here to debate as im just a iso tard trying to make some bunk old weed work cause I’m broke for “buying weed at the moment” but some of what i read was during that process the wash need to be sealed or its just pulling moisture from the freezer (so there im not even sure if im doing it right) my freezer is just for meat and stuff, not keeping brains of nobility alive for thousands of years! hahahaha! but, it was in the jars with the LIDS ON in the freezer : )

outside! : ) working on the mess also watered with recharge only, bent a few branches, nothing crazy. just getting a feel for it, i felt like Gordon Bombay when he hit the ice after all those years, kinda nostalgic if you will! im kidding! my dumbass was scratching my head trying to figure out what the hell im going to do if these things do decide to do something! hahahaha! im going to get some more of the green stakes i have for the flower room! those are awesome!

the flower room is kicking ass! my best yet! and im totally winging some things! couldnt call it my own if i didnt just bear bomb some shit along the way right? LOL! just the lighting hahaha. i turn it up a little bit every day or so. had to back the Frostettes out from under the big light, they are already likening there new spot, its my fault as they are way to big for flipping in my room (was going to clone them and then did not) same with the T1000’s but they were more manageable size wise from the get go.

More than happy to have you! when I was working, a guy gave me a tour of his garden up in Lewiston! Pretty much the same as you are dealing with! Mottled sunlight! His plants were about 9 feet tall with internodal spacing approaching a foot! Some real stretch Armstrong‘s! But it was the middle of September and he had some decent bud starting out! I think he did all right! But it’s a lot of work to support that kind of stuff! You have to work with what you got!
