After the nute switch yesterday the girls shot up a few inches when I seen them today. The trellis is starting to take shape, I tied down a few branches to help it out. I also applied a foliar called Groigen by Bloom Advance Floriculture, it gives the plants such a nice deep green color. They seem to be taking up 10 +/- gallons a day. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow night.

Next run start training them when they are small LST is a must and topping and supper Cropping it will double your yield Green twistie ties are a must, flIP When the trellis is just full..JACK

Jack,

Thanks for stopping by and appreciate the tips, your threads inspired me to get this system. I'm going to try to fill the trellis as much as possible before the flip, they've been in for one week. I'll give it another week tops. Thanks again.

Set ur chiller temp to whatever it takes to maintain a 62-64 system temp. With the 8gals, watch for decreasing water levels in the farther buckets from Epi during late flower.

I have my chiller set to 67 seems to be good for now but I haven't had all 8 lights on either, only rocking 6 right now probably til I flip them.

Thanks

Yea I just pulled it out quick for the pic, I replaced the air stones that came with it for 4" disks. Them seem to work good.

The grows looking good man! Cant wait for bud shots

Thanks, I cant wait for bud shots too. I'm thinking about flipping on Wednesday.

whats up everyone? This is day one of the flip. PPMs are at 4-500, water temp is around 68. I just put in another AC unit 12k to keep the room temps down. They vegged for 15 days in the UC I couldnt wait no more so it begins. I drained to the seals and filled with bloom nutes. Just rocking DM flower A + B and Zone right now. KISS. :spacecraft:

Great grow man. I think you could achieve better air flow and cooler temps if you repositioned your hoods and the ducting on them. Seems like the current set up would cause a lot of resistance and reduced air flow. I think having the hoods hooked up to a fan w/ a "Y" fitting and having the hoods in a wishbone pattern would create better air flow through the hoods. Just my thoughts. Good luck w/ your UC adventure.

Thanks for stopping by woods, I'll be keeping track of your grow as well. Did you flip yet?

I'm glad I built the trellis, I was going to go with cages but I'm happy with this.

Gotta love the flip, best of luck brah

Yea I couldn't wait anymore. It's time. Thanks for stopping by Joint

You read my mind, I repositioned the hoods last night and switched the duct work but I'm stilling having trouble with heat. I have those two ACs in there as well. The temp around the room & trellis feels good but right on top of the trellis is high. I figured with the two ACs that would do it pus venting the lights but I'm not sure what to do. Should I add a intake?

What size fan are you using to cool the hoods? Where are you pulling the air from? Used to run air cooled hoods then I went totally closed loop w/ proper ac and never looked back.

I got (4) 6" fans cooling the 8 lights ill try to get some pics up of how I repositioned the hoods tomorrow, its 85 F right at the canopy but whats going to happen at the end of next month when the temp outside rises. :worried

I'm going to add some more fans to cool the hoods and see what happens.

Its been 5 days since the flip and the trellis is filling in nicely, I'm going to wait a few days and give them a quick trim. I'm also going to foliar feed them with Bloom Advanced Floriculture's Florigen tomorrow when the lights go off. I had the PPMs at 500 but today when I checked it was down to 300. My top off rez is at 500 PPM so should I leave it or try to up the nutes in the system? I'm afraid to go to high with the PPMs and fuck stuff up.

I think one of the problems is the ac's you are using. Those just don't cool like we need them to. At a minimal I would wrap the condenser exhaust line w/ insulated ducting to prevent it from heating the room. You have put so much loot into your grow this far, I would invest in a quality mini split ac. Sun Light Supply has some quality plug and play (pre charged ac's) for a reasonable price.

Yea I wish I could but cant spend that kind of money right now I got the temp down to about 79 if I cant maintain it then i'll have to find a solution,

Everything is going pretty well ATM, week 1 just finished up, I filled the 55 gallon top off rez with big bud to kick off week 2 today. I got one plant that is smaller then the rest its kind of pissing me off. They loved that Florigen foliar I am going to use that a couple more times in the next week and half. They are just under 3 1/2 feet tall and the trellis is filling in, next run I would train them alot more thru the trellis but other then that everything else is right on track, ph 5.8 water temp 68 (chiller barely runs). I'll try to post pics later.

How does everybody raise the PPMs in the system? Add nutes to the epicenter? I have my rez where I want it but the systems PPMs are too low. They are eating em up like crazy. Whats the best way to rasie em? :thinking

mix higher strength to your top off rez, and continue to top it off with higher ppm solution. lets see some pics.
