I never said he was getting a Chinese knockoff. I stated I had access to one if he wanted it. I just offered him an alternative because he was having so many issues. But I never stated they were selling knockoffs or anything remotely similar to that.

I have bought from them myself and am using one of their HLG fixtures at this very moment. I feel bad because I had suggested growerslights to a few different members. Two of which are in this thread and had similar issues. Luckily one got their tracking and the other cancelled and ordered direct from HLG. So it all worked out.

However I will never recommend growerslights again. When I placed my order they were a couple days behind but came through so it wasn’t that big of a deal. But that was my own personal experience.

My bad, just the way i read it. I should have said hlg doesnt sell chinese rebranded fixtures. Sorry for the confusion. At one point growerslights was solid on communications and prompt delivery but sounds like that went downhill.

Substantial business growth without growing the business to support it is what happened. At least in my opinion

I ordered (3) hlg 65 from hlg (direct) and it only took them 2-3 days to ship em out . That’s sad that wholesaler/outlet is hurting their name/negative towards costumers .

Good luck with everyone that is having issues, it’s always a headache to feel like your being treated like class c costumer when you paid for not that negativity/errors .

If anything they should give you guys a certain % discount , not like you guys made this problem. If anything these kind of things can mess up a whole grows start-up . Your not their share holders

For sure. A discount would have been nice for the hassles they dealt with. I used to include free gifts with every order. I didn’t advertise it either so it was always a surprise. Didn’t cost me much and made my customers really happy to get something extra they didn’t pay for.

Hell yea bro, I ordered from hlg yesterday and it's already on the road on its way to me. Growerslights told me it would be a few days before they ship me a DIY kit that they said they have in stock lol

So I got 3 of the 260s on the way. I got a 5x5 now. What do you guys think about that? Or what about maybe changing to a 4x8?

You’d do well in the 5x5. I think you’d need another fixture to go 4x8.

You're probably right. Although I was also considering maybe getting a 4x8, but use it as a 4x6, just so I can put in my RDWC system and have a little extra room to move around. Oh well, I'll worry about that later. So would you just hang them all parallel in the 5x5?

You could do that in a 4x8. It would give you space to grow out. Otherwise yeah I’d run them parallel to each other. You gonna use risers to raise and lower them ornjust leave them stationary?

Same thing is happening to me, ordered the exact same light you ordered on growerslights.com. It said in stock online, so Iplacwd order... 3 days later got an email saying it would be 14 days till ship. I would of been ok but they charged my account. I get pressing pay or buy now is a binding contract essentially but charging a customer with out giving them a chance to say I'll wait is unfair. I lost power and a back flow on my reef tank failed and 30ish gallons drained from tank. It unfortunately reached my ballasts and fried them. I'm in mid flower. Had I known there was delay I would.of got new ballasts, waited for boards to be in stock, return ballast and get boards regardless. Since they charged my account I have no funds to get other lights. I have my veg mhezi 200 and 250 watt mh which isnt enough. This batch is essentially screwed and I cant do anything. I hope it sends in a few days but seeing you waited 30 I'm just accepting my girls are screwed :(. Hopedully a couple extra weeks in flower fattens them up and QBs allow me to run my room at a decent temp with warmer weather approaching.

Be careful when ordering newer lights, not saying growerslights is bad company .....only they shouldn't charge until the product is ready to ship or they inform customer and give them option first.

You can always do what I did, and cancel your order, and order direct from hlg...

They were my first choice and their website stated there was a 2 week delay. Growerslights listed as in stock, so I went with them since I was in a crunch. Figured canceling order was pointless as the refund would of taken a few days. Lesson learned just got to hope for the best at this point. Thanks for idea though.

Not sure what black knob you're talking about. But there are 4 little black knob looking screws that go in the corners to keep the boards off the table when you are putting the driver on.
