This year i am trying potatoes in feed bags. I used to do this in tires but thought these may be cooler, cleaner and easier to deal w/. I started with approx. a foot of my favorite soil in the bottom, planted potatoes like normal. Whenever the foliage reaches 12'' orso I strip the bottom 8ish" of leaves and add soil till I have a short little tater again and repeat rolling up the bag as you go of corse (or add another tire). When its full let it flower and flourish. At the end of the season kick it over and you will have a sack full of spuds.

But my reason for trying the feed bags this year is I want to use them for My out door pot plants next year. They are the woven feed bags, not the plastic or paper ones and seem to be draining and breathing well.
Don't mind the sick toms, or the catnip... It keeps getting molested lol
