My whole plant has turned purple and on another note, my leaves R canoeing most likely because of the low RH and the stupid vivosun fan that always stops oscillating.
Possibly because of the negative pressure from my exhaust setup.
The tent hits the fan when it's pulled into the fan.

I see that when you train them you wope out oll the leaves except the tops....I trained mine and have issues with alt of leaf growth....doesn't removing the leaves stunt the plant?

No,as long as you do your defoliation, at the right times you can take all the fan leaves off.

My first grow in 30 years was 6 autos, which finished up about a month ago and the smoke is great BUT.....it could have been better! ( pics upon request)
I definitely had my issues with the 1st grow that I'm hoping to clean up this time.
Join me on my growing journey.....there's a long way to go.

1000watt Boost Groled grow light, 4×4×8 Vivosun tent, 8" inline exhaust fan with 8" booster fan as an intake, it vents out the basement window. Also 2 Vivosun small oscillating fans.
2 RH and Temp sensors strategically placed along with a couple hydrometers on the floor.
Flora Series Micro,Gro,Bloom!

I mixed my own soil," sort of ", it's the new Miracle grow and a bunch of stuff I put in,like....bat guano, perlite,vermiculite,lava charcoal, D.E, bone meal, pumice rocks ,coffee grounds and a little lava sand.
I also put some Ja-Ma and Great white root hormone on the soil in week 2, for help with root growth.
I will post every week UNLESS, something exciting happens, good or bad!
Till then...grow on my brothers and sisters!

Hey there my fellow grower. I noticed people doing too much with their soil pudding 456 different things in there. I’ll tell you what my soil recipe is. It’s easy quick works great so here’s my little tip get 2 cubic yards of happy frog soil get 3 gallons of ocean forest soil these are both by Fox farm and you can add an 8 quarts of per light mixed out up really well. It’s gonna take a while and let that sit for about a week and a half two weeks. The only reason I know this this is always works for me so I actually looked it up and this is the actual measurement to use to mix up a batch of soil in a big plastic tub makes almost 20 gallons of soil.

Your like me my friend, it’s like this before you get a hair up your butt and run out to the store to go buy the equipment and things that you think you need to start to grow op. Wait stop right there don’t do it if you’re having any idea growing good quality canvas do your homework. Do some research. Find out what you need what you’re gonna have to do the equipment the nutrients you’re gonna have to buy. Growing as an art there’s so many different ways to do it. I found my way and it works great, but all I see on Reddit is somebody please help me first time grower can you tell me what’s wrong with my plants? Come on focus do what I do. Pick up the good old phone and Google it,lmao

Hey my fellow Rose I am pretty new to the side as well and I’m not trying to get off y’all’s topic but I have a question. I started growing autos indoors this past February. I’ve gone through three grows learned a lot about autos so here’s my set up. I’m using.VIVOSUN’s 2.7 x 2.7 x 63” grow tent I have my 4 inch AreoZesh on a board on the top of my tent so it’s pulling out of the top port, I have the HO5 humidifier. I have a 4 inch adjustable speed for intake on the bottom lift. I have my humidifier on the outside of the tent going up through the top. Left porch have a small dehumidifier in the corner of my tent I have the two areowave GEN 2 6 inch escalating fans in my tent offer right now. The light that I’m using is a VS 1500 W LED in a month. I’ll be replacing that with a.AreoLight wing aw200se light. But for now I wanna have works fine and I have everything being controlled by my E4 A2 controller. I have it on recipe mode, cause I’m growing purple Kush auto and ghost train Hayes auto and 3 gallon square woven parts. I like to have my light as hard as I can get it so that I can use the app to dim the light and get my PPFD correct my light cycle is 20 on four off but my big question is when the lights go out the ideal temperature right now a 77° daytime 75% humidity daytime nighttime. I’d like to get it down to 6869° in about 68 pushing humidity the thing I’m having problem with is getting the heat out of my tent with the lights out so that I can have the 5 to 10° difference between day and night. VIVOSUN does make an air conditioner, but that thing is way too big for my tent and it’s $500. I wish they could make a small air conditioner. They made a small heater so that’s the only issue I really have getting the temperature lower, I even have a dark work going from my bottom left port to outside so I can suck. I only have mine five with the lights on and seven when the lights are out the first set of five finger leaves is halfway out. My two little girls are two weeks and two days old.. be nice to hear what you’ll have to say. Oh I even tried those little air conditioners that you put the ice in it. Supposed to blow cool down to 68 degrees not.!!!!

Hello fellas and women growers, I have to say ,I screwed up and lost at least 3 weeks.I couldn't diagnose and treat my PGC very quickly so finally I did a crazy flush last week and BOOM! everything is looking better.
Now I can set a date for flowering i did wanna set up this automatic drip watering system from the Vivosun before I flip but we'll see @!!!
Other than the magnesium deficiency and overall root lockout, I think, I've been training both plants every other day and that cost me some time also because I keep pushing the growth parallel not vertical.
At some point I need to just let them grow, without touching them!
Read-em and weap!

Just remember the old saying more as little!! so when you think you need to check on your plants sometimes don’t I’m sure they’re just fine. I totally understand. I like to check mine out too, but all that In-N-Out In-N-Out doesn’t help the plants out.

Thanks for the advice! This morning I spent 2 hours searching and reading about defoliating autos on growweedeasy and they basically say, do very little, and only during late veg. or the plants may become stunted. What is your experience?

If you ask my 2 cents.....leave them alone. I've grown alot of them. I noticed the ones I leave alone the higher the yield...one that I raped....1/8th of a ounce....my now typical....3/4 to 2 ounces. If a leave is blocking a bud site....bend it out of the way....if you can't ....sure... hack it.

Yep, that's a good plan. I am going to take a couple that are resting on the potting soil and turning yellow. I don't want to encourage mold.

There our also articles on that site by a guy who believes in total defiation and I like his method.
I guess I pretty much followed it this time.I did three major defiliations, and any time I saw a( fan) leaf that i didn't like blocking some light,I cut it off.
My plants are half harvested right now and the only leaves on there are the ones that you can't get out without breaking the bud.
You see my plans, I think it worked out really well.And on a different note, I'd like to make a recommendation.For the Flora series, micro grow and bloom!

I have my own soil mixture that I use.
But i'm not gonna post it up here right now partly because I don't have it with me.
But i will say that you need to let your soil mixture sit for a whole lot longer than that to activate all the nutrients to a point where the plants can actually use them.

Where would you add a 3 to this sentence???
And seriously, it's more like 3 months for that soil mix to be nutrient available for your plants.
