So I finally am getting to put down some of the seeds that I made last year! The three strains don’t have names, but are strawberry lemonade x strawberry diesel S1, Strawberry diesel S1 x gorilla skittles, and strawberry diesel S1 x Layer cake.

I started all three in a soil mix that consist of Fox Farm ocean Forest, perlite, vermiculite, Foxfarm marine cuisine, and Dr. Earth organic Herb fertilizer.

The entire vegetative state or cycle went off without a hitch honestly lol. I didn’t really have many problems to speak of. I transplanted all three into 3 gallon fabric pots after around two weeks with the same soil mix. I started them down pretty much right away because I like a plant that is pretty spread out. I decided to top all of them once just for good measure, but I don’t normally do that. I think the only real issue was that I broke off one of the main tops on one of the plants, but that was it. At first, I was only watering with plain water or with teas that I made from the same Fox Farm Marine cuisine. After I got into probably week four I hit them with some synthetics from emerald harvest three part. I didn’t really give them much just a little bit to build up that structure before flower.

I also made a lactobacillus culture out of milk and wild bacteria. That worked extremely well! You could see the mycelium growth on top of the soil!

After just over five weeks, I flipped them immediately to 12 and 12.

It seemed like the plants started to get that light color growth at Bud sites like the next day somehow lol. After the first three weeks, only the layer cake really stretched out a lot. in the third week I did a pretty heavy defoliation and cut off a lot of those little sucker branches. I also went through and super cropped every branch that I could manage to break lol. Some people might say that this is stupid to do three weeks into flower, but I have always found it to be beneficial. Whether or not that actually matters, I don’t know.

In week four, I finally started using some synthetics from the same emerald harvest, three part, as well as a solid top dressing of the Gaia Green Bloom and Fox Farm cavern culture.

At this point, nothing is really blowing me away, and the strawberry lemonade has really long internodal spacing, but if they all managed to connect, it would be awesome lol. The layer cake has really really really frosted up as well.

I continued with the same routine until week, seven, and I started the UVB treatment for four hours a day in the middle of every cycle. I also started with the new millennium Winterfrost in week seven.

By week eight, the plants are all super super frosty compared to the week prior, and the smell is just absolutely out of control! I am a attributing it to the UVB. I also noticed the layer cake has some dark coloration on top. That’s not really purple so much as it is extremely dark Green black looking.

All in all, I am extremely happy with how these seeds turned out so far, and I am really glad that I took clones because the layer cake was probably the frostiest plant I’ve ever grown at home!

I also feel like the Gaia green bloom top dressings really carried me through flower with very very little synthetic at all. That stuff is absolutely awesome! If you want super frosty flowers that also have so much aroma, utilize this stuff as well as Foxfarm cavern culture.

I think this next run I am going to do my first Coco run in 1 gallon pots with like six of those strawberry lemonade seeds because it was the heaviest yielder by far.

The gorilla skittles was a pretty good yielder, but didn’t have much smell. The layer cake was incredibly frosty and ended up smelling like creamy fresh strawberries. The strawberry lemonade actually has a strong grape soda diesel smell lol.

I will post photos once I am done, drying and curing, and the next time I do one of these, I promise I will be a little more detailed and won’t brush stuff like I am now. I don’t have a lot of time at the moment lol.

I am going to post photos in order from beginning to end and hope it posts in the right order lol.

Thanks for reading my crappy grow journal lol.

Sometime soon, I will get some good stuff from the StatusGRO facility so you guys can see how much fun that is!

::EDIT::
Just now remembered when looking at these photos that I also did some super cropping in veg of main branches, and off shoots in flower!!!

Also, I put a photo last of the weird branching on the strawberry lemonade because on a couple of the primary branches, they had two branches and two fan leaves on each side instead of just one. Also that weird looking square mongoloid bud…. No idea what that’s about either lol.
