Bad news is a few soil gnats or some shit went scurrying around so my lazy ass needs to start some IPM right away!! I can't act surprised when I've given them all the things they love like a wet medium, algae and the fermenting yeast smell lol!!!

Well, fuck them tho! I have this questionable spray that the wifey uses on the houseplants now and then and is the only thing "allowed" to be sprayed on the plants and some cinnamon/clove mix for the soil.

Mosquito bits and yellow sticky traps are on the way.

Ask me why I didn't think about this before? Because I'm a lazy stoner like you! Thanks for saying something! Lol

Kratky jar fun!

This one with the bottom feeding is acting weird! I think the water is too warm because I'm cranking the temp in the tent. I will insulate a bit tomorrow and see if it makes a difference.

NIce work in that tent Homie!!! Those types are CO2 levels should work great!!
Those active ingredients in the Trifecta spray should work on damn near everything. Would be careful with getting too much into the soil tho.....Isopropyl with kill your plant roots and fuck them up

Two sherbs and two bombs got their big girl pots.

The one in the solo cup on the jar is a disaster. I pulled the wicks out, watered it, and stuck it with the herbs in the house.

Kratky jar twins are happy and the roots have reached the water. They got stuck inside with the herbs too...for now.

I was lazy about dusting some cinnamon off the leaves thinking it was harmless. Turns out I was incorrect!

They haven't had a dark period yet since I transplanted so we'll see how they look when they wake up at 4 o'clock. So far the UVb seems to be at a good level, couple more sets of leaves and I will kick it up a notch.

Alright, so now that you’re rollin’ along, what’s been the most difficult part of environmental control so far for the shed?

Figuring out where to set the temp and rh limits on the intake and exhaust fans every day based on the weather forecast! I ordered a pro controller so only a few more days of that hopefully. It's got 4 channels so 2 fans, a heater and a humidifier. Hopefully that's enough to dial in a good vpd.

So I've deliberately been running the tent at 86-88Β° with the CO2 varying between 650-1000+ and the light at 100%. It's like 550 umols at that distance.

Their diet this week is:
Zero Water
2.5 ml armor si
2.5 ml calmag
4 ml micro
3 ml grow
2 ml bloom

A bit heavy handed at +800 ppm. I dropped the pH to 5.8 and let 'er rip.

It's like a damn sauna in there! My glasses fog up instantly! Besides a little slumpy posture from the transplant I think they look great...

..for now lol

Outside it's 77Β° right now with 27% rh!!

It's 97Β° in the shed!!!

The tent is in its dark period but still 84Β° and 40% rh

Amazon just told me the 69 pro controller I was supposed to get today will now arrive on the 15th!!!! It's like they punish you on purpose for not forking over the extra $ for prime.

That means I can't dial in the humidifier yet and this week is a really bad time for that!!

I'm cooking these mofos and just hoping for the best until I can automate the environmental stuff more

It's all about the positive pressure in the tent. It really helps form a sort of cushion between the super heated shed air.

78 outside
95 in the shed
80 in the tent

Runoff today was 590 with input in the high 800's. That means increase feed or frequency. Currently I can't do more than one watering a day so tomorrow I'll bump them up to 1000.

I'm very close to slapping a bunch of hydro halos on them and automating the whole thing. I have holidays and shit coming up where I won't be able to babysit them anymore.

During flu I didn't step foot in my grow for a week to ten days at a time. Maybe it's time to start being able to do that again.

They definitely look like a mixed bunch but they've taken everything I've thrown at them pretty well.

So the babies are now adults at 21 days old. Everyone got topped. The cat got a snack.

They've got two weeks to get their shit together before I flip them.

The 2 sherbs look great, the F-Bomb f2s not so much. The more narrow leaf one looks like grandpa which was a NYC diesel cut. The other one is just miserable all the time. The third one that was fucking around in the jar is already in the trash.

Sherb

F-Bombe

With a fresh haircut

And my dedicated defoliator!

strongly considering making a drip system! : ) was just concerned about getting the drip rate correct to let the soil absorb the proper amount, and so its not just running through? Every time i even seriously consider this, thats the thought that talks me out of doing it. Would like 5 single drippers spaced between the edge of the pot and the stem be enough to saturate everything? Im thinking it would take hours to drip water and feed in? Would love to try it though. : )
