Well it's time for another grow and I've been away from the farm for far too long.

I discovered after having over 6 months of issues with cloning, vegging, and flowering plants that my meters were junk. Also ended up losing my job in September so I'm just now working again after being denied unemployment lol.

In the mean time I researched plant nutrition heavily, c02 systems, sealed rooms, defoliation, and all kinds of other shit to figure out what went wrong. It didn't take all to find out I had shitty meters but I learned some valuable stuff.

So this current grow started off badly with a 2.2EC but I did some tweaking that I'll get to later. I'm find of ergonomics and efficiency so I bought a cabinet for all my grow shit. Shit is cool.

I'm also now a rep for Growpito cause I like the shit even when I grow shitty shit in it.

Started working on my clone game without using an aero cloner. 24 clones in there of three different strains trying to figure my shit out

Let's get to the shit now though.

Day 9
EC 1.4 in/1.2 out
pH of 5.7
81f/78f
55% RH
Bridgelux EB Gen 2 3000k 12x 4ft strips with 480w meanwell
3x3 flood tray

@Jimster @Aqua Man @MIMedGrower @Kanzeon @Funk junky @PlumberSoCal @Srenots @jumpincactus @hawkman

@MIMedGrower you were right all along but I didn't have the equipment to even be right myself with the Malawi x Panama and everyone else thought it was senescence. Thank you so much

Let's get to the grow.

I'm running 18 Mendo Breath clones, 3 Bruce Banger, and 1 Dinafem Blue Cheese.

So I mentioned having a high EC well I flushed them down to a 1.4ec - tap water is .4 EC and I have them the following

Mega Crop+growpito Beneficials
75% strength monoammonium phosphate
25% strength potassium sulfate
Humic and kelp 5:2
Foliar of Fulvic and Kelp 5:2

The 4 seed plants are on the right. This wasn't meant as a Sog so shhh! It's day 9 btw

Here is day 1

Here is day 9

Day 11
EC of 1.5 in and 1.5 out
5.6 pH in and 5.8 out
11/13 Light Schedule
82f w/ 2° leaf temp offset
50% RH

The Mendo Breath are starting to stretch while the mother plants are growing pistols. EC and pH are stable finally.

The monoammonium phosphate and potassium haven't burnt the plants so I figure around week 4 I'll do a 50/50 and around week 6 a 25/75-100.

Day 14
EC of 1.5 in and 1.5 out
5.6 pH in and 5.8 out
11/13 Light Schedule
84f w/ 3° leaf temp offset
57% RH

Plants are looking good - to me

Foliar fed yesterday and flooded the tray today. EC is remaining at 1.5 for now. Haven't trimmed anything though.

The 4 mothers in the front right are progressing a bit faster but that's why they have their own pot. I had to tie them back away from each other cause I transplanted them too closely.

The Mendo Breath cuts are between 1-2ft tall and filled the table well. Not a SOG imo so don't accuse me of doing it wrong lol. Roots are coming out the bottom of the 5 gallon pots. Tight internodal distance on all of them. Hopefully they stop stretching but I'm growing bud rather than leaves this time.

Somehow filled a 4x4 with a 3x3 so I am pleased.

Day 17
EC of 1.5 in and 1.4 out
5.9 pH in and 6.0 pH out
11/13 Light Schedule
81f w/ 1° leaf temp offset
53% RH

Stretching looks to be almost over with the mother plants fully focused on flowering. There's some smell already.

Amazed how they filled the 4x4 space. The Mendo Breath are branchy with few leaves while the mothers are dense and short.

These are all reportedly 10 week strains but I believe the mothers may finish a bit sooner.

Day 20
EC of 1.5 in and 1.5 out
6.0 pH in and 6.1 pH out
11/13 Light Schedule
80f w/ 2° leaf temp offset
55% RH

More or less had a full pH swing so I'll be adjusting the pH back to 5.5 come next flood.

Plants have really branched out and flowering is progressing. Some light aroma has begun on the Bruce and Blue Cheese. 2 inch internodes on the Mendo Breath and less on the mothers.

No deficiencies have been observed and stretching has ended. The larger clones reached 30" while the mothers have remained short.

Day 23
EC of 1.5 in and 1.5 out
6.1 pH in and 6.3 pH out
11/13 Light Schedule
80f w/ 2° leaf temp offset
50% RH

Finally working our way into week 4. The last foliar was day 21 and some light pruning was done at the base of some of the clones.

No deficiencies but there have been some leaves here and there very low in the canopy that abscised otherwise no issues. Pots were moved around with the mothers and shorter cuttings to the right.

Excited to see how the Mendo Breath develop. Light aromas have begun and the mothers are developing frost. The red stems on the Mendo and they are quite beautiful complimenting the green of their fan leaves.

Enough chatter from me. Here are some photos.

Day 32
EC of 1.6 in and 1.5 out
5.7 pH in and 5.9 pH out
11/13 Light Schedule
80f w/ 2° leaf temp offset
53% RH

Everything is starting to develop really nicely and it looks like the Mendo has some hints of purple to it.

I'm not using Mega Crop as my base nutrient. Bad habit as I am currently using PrescriptionBlend nutrients.

The Blue Cheese has a nice fragrance while the Bruce Banger are still meh. Mendo has no smell yet either so I'm betting on 10 weeks for everything but the BC.

Terpenes are becoming more noticeable. Frost is looking to be abundant. Not much else going on

11/13 Light Schedule
84f w/ 2° leaf temp offset

Still going strong. Around three or so Mendo Breath clones look to have had a minor Ca issue while some in the left corner are getting dark stripes on their leaves otherwise small bit of die off below the canopy.

A few more weeks to go though. Maybe about 3-4.

Finally got my clones to take off after figuring out nutrients and humidity dome. Also used some cloning gel. I'll probably use all these clones for the next grow to keep this perpetual.

I have 10 Sannie's Extrema, 10 Ace Seeds Zamaldelica x Kali China, 5 Ace Seeds Bangi Congo x Panama, 4 Oriental Express x Nepal Jam, 12 Girl Scout Cookies, 5 Expert Seeds Gorilla Cookies, and 5 Dinafem Blue Cheese.

I'll see how I like the Blue Cheese as I'm flowering it currently but these were great for cloning practice. So far I've only lost 3 clones out of 54.

Used a Grodan gemination tray and stuffed there Growpito into each hole. Foliar every 2 days off Fulvic, kelp, and Monopotassium Phosphate. Charged the medium with 1.0 EC of Mega Crop, humic, fulvic, kelp, and Monopotassium Phosphate. Roots organic cloning gel

1.5 EC in and 1.5 EC out
5.5 pH in and 5.6 pH out
11/13 Light Schedule
84f w/ 2° leaf temp offset
44% RH

Never mentioned this but for anyone paying attention to the humidity something kind of cool happens. On a flood day RH will rise to 55-60% but as and sometimes in the next irrigation cycle, humidity drops to the low 40's every time.

Looks like some Cal issues but I could be wrong. Also some new colors in the leaves of the Mendo Breath slowly popping up.

I've brought the EC down to a 1.0 and a 5.5ph just to be safe and it was coming anyway. Hopefully there will be less issues.

Plants are all leaning over, colors are coming out with the Mendo showing hues of purple and the blue cheesing developing some orange

I'm having problems with a plant that looks very much like your second pic, but more advanced. Not sure exactly what it is, but in my case it follows an increased pH issue. Seems like my stuff never matches all the diagnostic pics that closely, but I'm thinking it's related to trace elements. You might want check out the pH angle.

Im not quite sure what the problem is but it isn't the first time it's happened. I adjusted the pH to 5.5 but I'm suspecting that 6.0 is the highest I should go.

More leaves are turning on the Mendo Breath. Bruce Banger isn't coated in trichomes like the other strains but it is putting on weight

Can't really describe the smell yet but has been getting stronger. The Cal deficiency was a concern but everything has been developing steadily so I don't see the need to add CalMag.

Here are some images of the trichomes

The heads range from clear to milky at the top of the buds. Some nice, almost black hues, colors going on with the Mendo Breath with petioles encrusted in trichs.

I'm thinking about two weeks left until harvest.

Mendo Breath is turning colors on the leaves and the buds have settled at a purple. Plants are heavy with bud and leaning.

Mother plants are growing a bit more slowly and will probably take a few extra weeks.

So it's been awhile but things are moving slower at this point.

I've lessened the watering to every 4 days as the pots were heavy at day 3 last week. Harvest is getting closer as humidity has dropped to low 40s even after a flood.

Not sure how close the Cheese and Banger are but all Mendo are fading though trichomes aren't amber yet.

Plants finished at 64 with the Mendo leaves mostly turning. One of the Bruce Banger started turning yellow but the entire mother pot had amber trichomes.

They've been left in the tent to dry out on the vine and one of Mendo was harvested for cobs. Once they are dry I'll post weight
