Half of the pistils Amber

Before we had microscopes, loupes or even the knowledge to look at the trichomes, we used to harvest based on the pistils
here is a good indication of harvest times

Yeah 30+ years ago (ancient times) it was the 80/20 rule of 80% receded (orange) pistils. Funny how ole Pareto applies to so many things,eh?

Ready, Set, CHOP CHOP...try 3 days darkness, no water...lets the thc pack on and terpes develop (taste)

looking good.....make a tincture out of all the trimmings. Dry in oven in foil bag, around 25 min, 250°f, grind, submerge in a food based grain alcohol (about 1/4 to 1/2 innch over trimming, (like 190/200)proof), shake daily 2 weeks, stored in dark closet, filter through coffee filter, 1/2 to 1 eyedropper per dose...best under tongue. If too hot, dilute with water / juice

Try 46 years ago! And no hygrometers, Grove bags and LEDs.

I would just rip them off their branches immediately and run to the bong! I wouldn’t even flush, dry, or cure. Maybe toss them in a 400° preheated oven first for an hour or so.

You're looking at the wrong part. You really need to get a magnifier that lets you inspect the trichs. They're pretty inexpensive on Amazon.

If you have a scale weigh one of those branches daily til it stops losing weight, should drop about 80% from chop til you cure
