Wow thanks a lot for this, this is what I wanted to know exactly, how to know by looking at pistils like the ancient timesBefore we had microscopes, loupes or even the knowledge to look at the trichomes, we used to harvest based on the pistils
here is a good indication of harvest times

Yeah 30+ years ago (ancient times) it was the 80/20 rule of 80% receded (orange) pistils. Funny how ole Pareto applies to so many things,eh?Wow thanks a lot for this, this is what I wanted to know exactly, how to know by looking at pistils like the ancient times

Nice that'll be sick!!!looking good.....make a tincture out of all the trimmings. Dry in oven in foil bag, around 25 min, 250°f, grind, submerge in a food based grain alcohol (about 1/4 to 1/2 innch over trimming, (like 190/200)proof), shake daily 2 weeks, stored in dark closet, filter through coffee filter, 1/2 to 1 eyedropper per dose...best under tongue. If too hot, dilute with water / juice
You make me feel like a kid lol.Try 46 years ago! And no hygrometers, Grove bags and LEDs.
No not yet….Is this ready for harvest? Half the pistils look Amber, cant see the triches but some photos looks like there is some Amber ones. View attachment 1176128View attachment 1176129View attachment 1176130View attachment 1176131
You're looking at the wrong part. You really need to get a magnifier that lets you inspect the trichs. They're pretty inexpensive on Amazon. Is this ready for harvest?
