For my 420 celebration, I'll be smoking Purple Chem that was harvested 1 year ago today. I can't wait to see if it's still good.

Its past 4:20 here Atlantic time. I saw the post and said shit how can I not smoke now.So I blew a couple/three bowls of fresh ChemDog. Only 6 days dry but dry enough to be able to get a glow going in the bowl.

No better way to spend the day than in my garden tending plants, listening to tunes and blowing a few bowls through the day. Ah work work work.

I still have to wait 1.5 hours. I opened the year old Purple Chem and pulled out a nug. It looks like it did last year but smells different. The former skunk smell is gone and the bud now smells like sour d. I hope the potency is still there.

This is new to me, first time with the Chemdog. Odd taste a little diesel fuel after taste. Nice buzz, I like heavier smoke and this fits the bill.

Now the smoke report. Wow! I can't believe it, It's still great. Lost some terps but the taste is smooth. Minimal THC lost. wow

I thought it would be cool to wait an extra few days and harvest today. Bad idea. Got way too high, got lazy, have only chopped 3 of 11 plants, and I need a nap because I'm fading fast

I put it away and will sample every year on 420 as an experiment.
