I have a plant that is not doing the best but it has been through quite a bit and I am happy that it is even still growing and flowering. I found this seed in a bag of some damn good smoke, supposed to be white widow but I'm not sure about that. Anyway, one of the problems I think it's having is that the soil is hard. I purchased some organic soil and mixed it with organic fertilizer then used the mix when I transplanted to a larger pot. I didn't compact it but it seems to have compacted on it's own. I put some rocks and pebbles in the bottom when I made the transplant to help the soil drain but it seems to stay wet for a while.
Does anyone have any suggestions for making sure soil is the right consistency? I'd like to have good nutritious soil that drains well.
