So I had an issue where my light turned on during week 7/8 and another issue where light stayed on 24hrs in week 8 beginning.
My buds still have decent amount of white pistols but when I look through loop I see enough amber that makes me think I can chop. Plus buds are dense.
My question is.... is it possible that based on trichomes a plant can be ready for harvest but can still show a decent amount of white pistols DUE TO the light mishaps and possibly that caused more pistols to grow when they might not have?
I used to think that airy buds can get dense given enough time but if they are still airy and there are a lot of amber then that means the plant is done regardless of density of buds. So buds structure and density are from good grow but the trichones turn based more on time then on environment? So airy buds but milky/amber trichomes means chop... dense buds but clear trichomes means not ready...?
Meaning, even though I see newish white hairs, because the trichomes are turning amber that is the ultimate way of knowing if the plant is finished and in harvest window. Right? And going longer won't change anything for the better?
Does my gibberish make sense?
