Ok farmers I need help. First grow and you all have told me I did a sweet job and thank you but I need help now. Short story is I have nerve damage to my eyes and see very poorly. Observing and looking for amber is just impossible. I took the best pics I could. Can anyone give me an idea? Maybe something else I can take pics of to help? It's orange pie and the sprouted Jan. 20th. Had to bury alittle deeper because of stretch. Flower is 65 to 70 days on this strain. By my scheduled feedings and time frame I was putting it in first week of may. Thank you again . You guys have been amazing. I grow for medical and it is very important for me to be able to afford the only thing that keeps me out of the hospital.

Can you take a picture of the whole plant. I know everyone wants to determine harvest day by using a scope, but imo there's more to it then that. Some strains won't turn amber untill after they die. It's good to look at the frost, but look at the whole plant too. And listen to your nose.

Took some pics right now. If there is anything specific you need tell me. I need all the help here I can get.

I would start flushing now. Well done.
Thank you very much. Lots of research before I jumped in. So would the flush your referring to be to do straight water for 10 days that I've read about? And once again thank you for helping me

That should be about right. I flush to 100% runoff, then keep them on the dry side until done.

I looked at all the hairs closely with my wife's help. All the main colas on top have about 50 to 60% brown. Not wilted but turned brown. The small popcorn buds below are about 30% brown. I've read this can be a indicator too. I flushed till water was coming out pretty good. Pain in the a$$ cleaning it up when they are netted in a grow tent. I'll just water now for 10 days to keep damp then harvest if that sounds about right?

That's a beautiful 1st grow! I recommend you start checking the trichomes with magnification, not the pistils they're not the best indicator of ripeness;

also don't check the trichomes on the leaves, check only on the buds because the leaves ripen much quicker, hope this chart helps, good luck!

Thanks. Only problem is that my eyesight is impaired. I'm having a hard time seeing them. I didn't know I did a good job till everyone has said I did. Makes me feel good I won't lie but it was from gathering all the good info from multiple sights and weeding through it. Without others help like yours I wouldn't have been able to do this

You've done great. I think you're on target for May 1 harvest. Keep us updated and we'll get you through the finish line with product that will do what you need it to.

Apologies for the double post, follow up thought. When the plants get this kind of dull look, it's hard to describe. They just look tired. You'll know you're within a couple days to a week of being on point. As others have said, also follow your nose. Fresh, early flower smells quite a bit different from ripe flower.

They are looking different. Today the sugar leaves even look not as perky I guess you would say. Also I had to turn up my vent fan with carbon filter because the smell is now more pungent and strong. More like opening up a jar from the dispensary type smell. Before it was more citrus, fruity, sweet lemon like.

Nice grow I hope it taste as looks , now get back in that grow space and do it again good luck .

Always go at least 5 more days than you think. It will add weight and reduce shrinking.

Better get some correct glasses, otherwise grow lights will fuck your eyes even more

Ok guys and gals.... I got a pocket microscope that actually works for me. Goes up to 100x. I've got milky ones and some clear. A few with a little brown dot. Last night they swelled up. I swear that ballooned yet sugar leaves look tired. From what I'm reading I should be on a two week whine down. I flushed a week ago Wednesday and have been only clear water since. I'm thinking 2nd week of May. Thoughts farmers? Thanks again!!!
