My local nursery carries a soil called Seacoast . It's supposed to be biodynamic and organic.

SeaCoast Enlivened Potting Soil is the perfect all-purpose growing medium for seed starting, transplanting, and container gardening! This high-quality blend of custom ingredients includes the incredible SeaCoast Compost, Coconut coir, Perlite, Langbeinite, Kelp Meal, and Biochar. This biologically active and enlivened potting soil encourages robust root growth and is a veritable feast for your plants. 1.25 cu. ft. bags.
What you all think?

There processing plant is i Charleston OR. The lady at the nursery said it's pretty heavy. I'm guessing I would probably need a ton of perlite. I just was hoping to try different soil for fun.

Have you looked into rice hulls? I know cannafarmer420 and Mikedin use them. I looked into it last year but forgot everything I read on them. Seems to do a good job in lue of perlite if I recall correctly.
