Glassblower tricks... heat the outer sleeve SLIGHTLY, put and ice cube in the bowl. This should cause the sleeve to get slightly larger, (too hot will actually defeat the purpose cause a ring swells 360° and can lock in the piece) the idea is to shrink the bowl, heating the sleeve (barely) will help break things (resin) free. Twist gently and carefully! I got a couple more tricks too... freeze the hole thing (sleeve and bowl) then twist, and last but not least tapping GENTLY on the coller with a butter knife while holding the bowl, have something soft to catch it on:)
While these work best with clean glass, if the resin is warm one of these should work...
