in researching terpene oxidation for a current project, we came across this molecule. It has been known to chemistry for a long time as a component of Frankenincse. With all the cannabis hype, it has been renamed, Hasishene.... i like the name :-)

If the article is true, its a rearrangement of Myrcene.

We are working on a project that is showing promise. It appears the oxidation of terpenes is a good thing to a point.... then you want to stop it and hold it where its at.
