@Oldchucky likens the process to picking fresh fruit from a tree: you only pick what is currently ripe and leave the rest alone to ripen in their own good time....This seems to make all the sense in the world. My current grow has some bottoms and middle that look like they'll need at least a week more time. I'm OK to do a partial harvest and put the trimmed bud in a dark area and keep growing the bottoms and middles.

I'm an amber guy. I want the heaviest, indica stone I can get, so I wait. I'm growing Afghani this year. Amber on Afghani should put me in a medically-induced coma.
