Mites don't like high humidity/water, they are usually an issue inside or during the long hot dry summer days. A regular foliar spray with soap/neem/kelp/ or even simple green will keep them down. Just got to keep on it as the eggs hatch. The thing with mites is they can become immune/tolerant of things rather quickly, within 3 generations supposedly, so change up your foliar regime and make them choose an easier life elsewhere.
