do any of you have experience with menehune magic soil?

Its okay,it's pretty much city green waste. Look up Hawaiian Earth Products they are the producers of the compost, they sell it by the yard for around $35(ish)

Yep same stuff...they just bag it and rip you off, buy it by the yard and its equivalent to about a $1 a bag
Yeah, that's what I'm gonna do. They sell it at the place by the dump on kapaa quarry road. Going there this week. I'm going back to soil. Coconut coir is to much work. I hate ph'ing water. I would rather use my water hose to water with. I fucked up and killed about 15 plants this weekend using vinegar for ph down.

Bummer Dude! Soil is the way to go! Most of the plants i have going now are 3 parts SHM#4 to 1 part Kellogg's Patio Plus. I quit using coco a cycles back, I don't know what it is about coco but when i use it it seems to attract mites and fungus gnats, if i don't use coco i don't have to many pest issues. I realize that most people don't have any issues with coco, but it's never done anything special for me.

I switched to coco because of how fast they grew in veg. But now that I'm reusing it I'm having problems. I forgot the most important thing about cannabis cultivation. Kiss-keep it simple stupid. I'll try mixing some sunshine 4 with the coco I have and try to save it.

My friend is a landscaper and he said the Hawaiian earth double compost sifted soil was great. I'm gonna check it out later this week.

HEP's soil will work, I've used it in the past, the one thing i don't like about it is they add a bunch of salts to the soil, not that I'm against using salt, but I'd rather dictate what goes into the soil.

Hey,lookin good in the aloha state!

How hot does it get over that way??

There are many microclimates, but 75F-85F is about the range all year.
