First thing I learned, well actually the second thing I learned after getting the PH right was that more is not better.

In my case, I think of running high nutes similar to driving a car in the red, so close to blowing up. Its a fine line and one I am not yet skilled enough to successfully pull off.

I would start low nutes from beginning and then slowly increase.

Looks like you've got all the answers already but I agree with the nute burn. I would flush with just water...water with as low ppms as possible and ph'd of course. Check the run off after a few water feedings and go from there.
