heat question..............

Hi guys, i have noticed my grow room is getting really hot and i`m finding it hard to cool down the air etc.

was thinking of getting a small air conditioner to put in the tent.

will there be any issues with doing this?

i was also thinkin as it has a dehumidifier on it would that course any sort of problem?

would i be better putting the air conditioner outside the grow tent in the actual room?

what do you thinks best?

I have my grow op in my garage ina few cabinets. I just purchase a 12,000BTU, 1 year ols AC for 90.00USD and found it works great. It lowered my temps from 83-85 to 73-76 degrees and I have had zero problems. It has been nothing but great for my plants and they are showing me some love. Mine is a window unit. I have no experience with the portable units. Good luck.

just wondered what the dangers were of having my humidity 2 mow if the ac took to much moisture out air?

I use hydrofarmm 12,000 btu didn't get as good of a deal as Rocky but I paid $500. The first hydrofarm ac leaked bad and had to return it. All good now. My buddy cools the room with the same ac and draws the air from his room because those acs wont fit tin the tent. Keeps his temps down fine with that. Also yes it works as a dehumidifier so you do get 2 in 1 for double the price.

It's nothing a $30 cool mist humidifier can't handle.

I don''t think low humidity is an issue ever and my ac keeps the humidity between 50 and 60 % is cool.

Get a bigger extractor fan and suck all your heat away from your growroom, this will save you cash.

Im running to grows at the moment, one has ac , temps are 84 during lights on and 76 during lights off, humidity is 58 %, the other grow is under a swamp cooler, high temps are 70 degress and humidity is 70 %, the buds on the swamp cooler grow are bigger and twice as sticky as the ac grow and stink worse to.. I love the swampers, much cheaper to run also.
