Yo ,newbie here,so all is new for me,Im indoor ,in a tent i built which turned out pretty good.but im in week 4 starting tomorrow, Sunday. They look pretty good ,however they seem awfully short.almost 10 inches in height, its gushers auto,so idk is this normal, Im aware they tend to be on the shorter side of growing, reason I went with them to start.so I guess I post pics now

It would be because something wasn’t dialed in

Autos are >extremely< finicky over water a tad lose growth underwater a tab same result

There not new grower friendly one iota

You have to have everything spot on & hit the ground running

One simple mistake that you may not even know you made and you end up with a auto that’s smaller than it could have been

even experienced growers can struggle to get autos grow to their full potential especially when there used to photos.

“ the autos are smaller bro science “ stems from stunted autos; not ones grown to there full potential & also stems from the veg to flower period not being under your control

Photos don’t need such intensive care.

I was under the impression auto was easier for beginners, thanx for ur input bro

i don’t know where that stems from breeder hype or what I have no idea however honestly ask any of the long term growers & they will say the same.

Autos flower by age so you’ve no control on when it flowers so any slight hiccup & you lose yield where as a photo flower by light/dark so you can control when to flower.

so any hiccups can be overcome by just vegging longer they are also far more forgiving vs a auto

They do have a place & aren’t tat
Like when I get behind I run a few autos in my veg tent while waiting for my photos to finish as generally autos do finish earlier

Must admit I myself with to many runs under my hat don’t always get it bang on with autos

I’ve seen autos yeild far more than I can get them too still one day I’ll get it bang on myself 🤣
