No matter if it’s an auto or regular the breeders info is a ruff estimate at best. Your much better off going by the trichomes to determine chop. Your on the right track with the 50/50 of amber and cloudy if your looking for couch lock.HEY THERE! I’m a first timer and have dumb questions about Autos. This is supposedly Death Star Auto from PCB. The site claims 8 to 9 weeks to harvest. But, I came across a journal that talked about the same strain growing 12 weeks. Friends say 50 cloudy and 50 Amber is the right time, but they don’t do auto. So I’m confused. This is 4 days away from 9 weeks. It doesn’t look 50/50 it’s taking less water. And, flushing began 10 days ago. Theoretically, that means 2 more days until a 48 hour blackout and chop? BUT! It’s brother isn’t as happy. So, the debate is sequential harvest. IDK IF ITS TOO SOON? The goal is coach potato one hit wonder NOT light and easy. I will try to reply with a couple more pics below. Thanks I’m advance! :-)

I shared a couple pics below. I don’t think it’s Amber? But, it has a few yellow leaf tips. Would you feed again or keep flushing? Appreciate you! Those timelines are generalized. No two environments are the same typically. Use em more for a rough idea as to when to get ready to harvest.
You need a microscope to check the trichomes. Without knowing how far along the trichomes are it's hard to make a recommendation.I shared a couple pics below. I don’t think it’s Amber? But, it has a few yellow leaf tips. Would you feed again or keep flushing? Appreciate you!

Do you have a photo similar to number 3 with Amber? Thanks again! You need a microscope to check the trichomes. Without knowing how far along the trichomes are it's hard to make a recommendation.
Check my profile pics for some close trichome shots. The third one has some Amber trichomes popping in it.Do you have a photo similar to number 3 with Amber? Thanks again!

You definitely don’t need a microscope to see trichomes. A magnifying glass will work or a jewelers loop is even better. You can pick both up at a hobby store usually.Legendary!
This is true! A microscope is always my go to since it's what I personally enjoy usingYou definitely don’t need a microscope to see trichomes. A magnifying glass will work or a jewelers loop is even better. You can pick both up at a hobby store usually. View attachment 1215795
I’m actually deciding on what hand held digital microscope to get right now, but mostly just to get nice close up pictures. This is true! A microscope is always my go to since it's what I personally enjoy using.
