Hello Everyone,

I am a first time grower and I wanted to share what the results have been so far. I am using a closet and unfortunately the door did not close properly. So to be on the creative side and cheap, I purchased 4 foam board at the dollar store. I cut them to fit the door jam and covered with the silver emergency blankets and now have a sealed door closure. I use long push pins to keep them in place, they want to slide down, lol The best part about this is I can open each panel on its own to either view the ladies or water or adjust the lights, etc. The top one has the exaust fan and the bottom one has the intake fan. This is a little 8inch fan mounted to the cut off top of a gallon jug and the dryer vent hose attached to it. Total cost to set up whole room, lights fans, etc. was light $130, fans $20, hose $4, silver emergency blankets (5 of them) $6 and a few cords, so for under 200 dollars room was good to go.

I have 4 flowering and I would say at the size of them 3 would have been a better amount. But we are learning. I use 1 floral lights only (Picture will be included). They were brought up on HD lights to start. After arriving here and being transplanted to larger pots, they were a little stressed, and within a couple of days, perked right up. After letting them get use to the new environment, they began to showed signs of wanting to flower. So off we went into 12/12. And they are doing great. I used fox farm soil, with their big bloom and tiger bloom nutrients. DID NOT use grow big, they did not like that nutrients. The floral light is 4x4 in flowering 3 red, 1 blue light. Soil base, 5 gallon cloth pots. Temps running 72 degrees to 79 degrees, humidity level is around 41 to 46 percent. Ph is consistent at 6.7. With floral lights the watering is tricky, but alternate days work well, nutrients, dry, water, dry and repeat, with 2 days of dry mixed in on occasion. I use a meter to check the soil and lift the pots as well.

So if I do this right included are picture of them at day 18 since flipping lights to 12/12, with a long way to go still. They are almost done stretching and are starting to frost up. As for the strain, we have no idea, bag seeds and look like we got a few good ones. I think they are doing very nice so far and hope it continues to harvest. If you see white specks on them, it is only a little plaster dust from the ceiling. I forgot to do this part because the light filled the closet. And in an 1800’s house, I guess the plaster needs covering everywhere. The fan stirs it up some. Trust me when I saw the pic’s I thought oh no bugs, but phew all is good. I thank you all for your opinions.
