Hello Everyone,
I've been growing for a while, outside, just for my own use. This is my first real try at growing indoors and I want to do it right, so I came here to gain as much information as I could. I'm very glad that I found this sight.

Close to forty years now Put, and I have found more than I can hope for already Darth thanks to All! Converting my outdoor experience to indoors has been more than I expected, but well worth the effort!

I kind of an old fart myself

I'm using soil because its what I know. About one half from my mulch pile and the rest is cheap garden soil and manure. The dirt from the mulch pile is from the very bottom and has a lot of sand so it drains very well.
